Latest National League, North and South TV / streaming selections up until March

We take a look a the latest National League TV selections for April as another batch of games have been picked for broadcast.

The promotion race is heating up and will be covered by BT Sport as three more National League matches will be televised with no fans in the stands right now.

March is expected to be another epic month in the fifth tier of English football as the title race and chase for play-off places gets tasty.

The National League say: “We’re thrilled to confirm the matches in early April which have been selected by our broadcast partner for exclusive coverage.

“They include an Easter double as the promotion race really heats up.

“The live action starts on Good Friday with the clash of two giants, Notts County and Wrexham.

“Then on Easter Monday, two more teams hoping to be involved in the shake-up meet at Edgeley Park as Stockport County welcome Bromley.

“On April 10, the BT Sport team return to Hartlepool United with Neal Ardley’s Notts County this time coming under the camera’s focus away from home.

“We still have more action to come this month as Maidenhead face Altrincham next Saturday with both gunning for a play-off place.”

March 27: Maidenhead v Altrincham KO: 6.15pm
April 2: Notts County v Wrexham KO: 12.30pm
April 5: Stockport County v Bromley KO: 5.30pm
April 10: Hartlepool United v Notts County KO: 5.20pm

BT Sport revealed in December that they will continue to broadcast matches from the National League through to the end of the 2023/24 season.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “Over the past few years we’ve developed an innovative relationship with the league, including world-first 5G-enabled remote broadcasts and training local students who help create BT Sport’s National League highlights shows.

“The National League remain a valued partner to BT, particularly during the pandemic, in staging last season’s playoff matches and the 2020-21 season.”

Brian Barwick, chairman of the National League, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with BT Sport. Their coverage of the Vanarama National League has been simply outstanding.

“Informed and comprehensive, our League has been broadcast in a highly polished and professional fashion. A lot of hard work over the last past seven years has produced some exceptional television.

“The new three-year contract will take us into over a decade of coverage by BT Sport. This speaks volumes for the confidence we have in how our matches have been brought to an established and growing audience.”
