Latest National League, North and South TV / streaming selections up until end of April

The latest National League TV selections for April has been revealed now that the 2022-23 season is entering the latter stages.

BT Sport confirm the televised selection of more matches added to the ones already picked over March and April as the campaign takes shape.

The upcoming round of fixtures in the fifth and sixth tier of English football gives us a better idea of who are standing out vying for promotion and slipping down as risk of a relegation battle – even if we’re a long way off.

NATIONAL LEAGUE STATEMENT:

The first live selections for the final month of the league season have been made – with another added onto March’s schedule.

There is a bit of BT Sport history coming in a few weeks with a regular season Vanarama National League South match broadcast for the very first time.

Following the success of Kidderminster Harriers vs Chester in the North earlier this year, viewers will get to see title hunters Ebbsfleet United’s game at Slough Town on March 25, kick-off 12.30pm as BT Sport showcase Non-League Day.

It’s a double-header on that day – later it’s a big grudge match as promotion-chasing rivals Wealdstone and Barnet cross swords, that game begins at 3pm.

April is looking good already – and there’s a humdinger ahead.

On Monday April 10, Wrexham and Notts County meet and it’s no big surprise that BT Sport want to be there and show it to the nation. The division’s top two collide at 3pm.

But before that, there’s a live battle at both ends as relegation threatened Yeovil Town host play-off hopefuls Southend United on April 1.

Good Friday sees two teams chasing the top seven come together as Boreham Wood and Dagenham & Redbridge enjoy the extra exposure, kick-off is at 5pm.

Games for the season’s climax in the second half of April will be announced at a later date.

Upcoming live matches:
Saturday March 11 Notts County vs Dorking Wanderers (5.20pm)
Saturday March 18 Woking vs Chesterfield (12.30pm)
Saturday March 25 Slough Town vs Ebbsfleet United (12.30pm)
Saturday March 25 Wealdstone v Barnet (3pm)
Saturday April 1 Yeovil Town vs Southend United (5.20pm)
Friday April 7 Boreham Wood vs Dagenham & Redbridge (5pm)
Monday April 10 Wrexham vs Notts County (3pm)

BT Sport’s coverage, led by presenter Matt Smith, follows the regular season championship race plus the exciting end-of-season playoffs as 24 teams battle it out for two precious spots in the Football League.

Alongside Smith are commentators Adam Summerton and Adam Virgo plus a cast of expert pundits.

Alongside the weekly live match coverage, the BT Sport team bring fans every goal from every National League match in the weekly Vanarama National League Highlights show.

The show is created through an innovative link between BT and students associated with selected National League clubs who receive broadcast training from BT to go on and help create the show.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “Over the past few years we’ve developed an innovative relationship with the league, including world-first 5G-enabled remote broadcasts and training local students who help create BT Sport’s National League highlights shows.”

This is what fans had to say on the latest National League TV selections for March and April, mostly on Notts County and Wrexham’s meeting…

@Liamgeraghty_: No early kick off, get in 😍

@Tech_Analyst_UK: Well that’s my wife’s Easter Monday afternoon ruined then 😂

@nath14wxm: Thank god it’s not 12:30 worst kick off time ever 👍🏻

@mgsevs: I’m actually glad of this. I’ll be in Majorca but now I get to see our biggest game in the NL outside the playoffs…

@GrahamPies: Hallelujah. It’s not being moved 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

@R_Tokey: Missed three games all season. Hope somethings in place for people like myself who barely miss away matches. If I’ve got to queue from 3am I’ll be there 😂

@Euan1864: Surprised they haven’t moved it to 12:30
