Latest National League, North and South TV / streaming selections up until end of April

History has been made in the National League TV selections with its North and South divisions included for the first time ever.

BT Sport confirm more televised selections of matches to the ones already picked over the next few months as the campaign takes shape.

The upcoming round of fixtures gives us a better idea of who are standing out vying for promotion and slipping down as risk of a relegation battle – even if we’re a long way off.

NATIONAL LEAGUE STATEMENT

The latest BT Sport picks can now be confirmed – and there is a little bit of TV history being made.

For the first time, a National League North and South regular season game will be broadcast live to the nation.

Kidderminster Harriers’ match with Chester has been selected on Wednesday December 7.

Then, in an action-packed Sunday December 11, Braintree Town will host Dulwich Hamlet – kick-off 12.30pm – before the cameras get turned on at Oldham Athletic, where Torquay United visit. That kicks off at 3pm.

Before those games, Southend United’s home match with Notts County gets the BT Sport treatment.

It replaces Scunthorpe vs Wrexham on Tuesday November 8 because of the Dragons’ FA Cup progress.

On Saturday December 3, Matt Smith and the team make their first trip to York City’s LNER Stadium as Wrexham visit – kick-off is 12.30pm.

Two dates are already in the diary for after Christmas.

On Boxing Day, promotion rivals Barnet and Boreham Wood go at it in north London, that game starts at 3pm.

On Monday January 2, it’s a first visit of the season to Maidstone United for the cameras as the Stones welcome Dagenham & Redbridge.

Saturday October 29 FC Halifax vs Oldham Athletic (5.20pm)

BT Sport’s coverage, led by presenter Matt Smith, follows the regular season championship race plus the exciting end-of-season playoffs as 23 teams battle it out for two precious spots in the Football League.

Alongside Smith are commentators Adam Summerton and Adam Virgo plus a cast of expert pundits.

Alongside the weekly live match coverage, the BT Sport team bring fans every goal from every National League match in the weekly Vanarama National League Highlights show.

The show is created through an innovative link between BT and students associated with selected National League clubs who receive broadcast training from BT to go on and help create the show.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “Over the past few years we’ve developed an innovative relationship with the league, including world-first 5G-enabled remote broadcasts and training local students who help create BT Sport’s National League highlights shows.”
