Callum O’Hare slams website for making up interview showing disrespect to Coventry City

Callum O’Hare slams the website sportsynergy.com for making up an interview alleging he was showing disrespect to Coventry City.

sportsynergy.com allegedly quoted him as saying that moving to Sheffield United from Coventry City was “a significant step up.”

O’Hare, who signed for the Blades after his contract with Coventry City expired, was quick to deny these comments, calling the reported interview “nonsense” and questioning the credibility of anyone who would believe such claims.

He emphasised his respect for former club Coventry, highlighting his relationship with the fans, management, and teammates.

He said via Twitter: “You’re embarrassing, whoever believes any of this nonsense is mad. Why would I ever say anything bad about a top manager who helped make me the player I am today, the fans who I had a special connection with until people started making up different rumours and taking things in a different way than was meant and the players who I spent a lot of years with who are top people and players.

“Never said these words in my life this interview never took place. Have you got nothing better to do than write an interview that never happened??

“I don’t know why people are trying to force hate and everything else just because something new has happened Everyone knows how I feel about the fans, staff and players there and always will. Let’s just all enjoy football it’s what we all love best.”

The FAKE quotes that sportsynergy.com claimed Callum O’Hare to have said. Can you spot the fake?

“I was doing fantastic before I got injured. I gave everything to return and help the team out. But when I got back, I realized that Mark Robins [Coventry’s coach] no longer counted on me. That broke me. I had worked so hard to come back, but suddenly, I felt like I was no longer a part of the team’s plans.”

“I didn’t feel the backing of the management when I needed it most. It made me feel like I wasn’t wanted anymore. It’s tough when you give everything for the club, and in your moment of need, you feel abandoned.”

“Leaving Coventry was a huge step up for me, without being disrespectful to them,” O’Hare stated. “At some point, I had to think about my future and my career. I didn’t want to be in a place where I wasn’t valued, where I wasn’t given the opportunity to play a role. That’s why the move to Sheffield United felt like the right one.”

“At Sheffield United, I feel settled. I’m part of a team that values me, where I know my contributions are appreciated”

“I’m playing with quality players, and we’re all pushing towards the same goal, which is promotion to the Premier League.”

“At Coventry, promotion seemed like a distant dream. We had a good team, but the level of competition in the Championship is tough, and I just didn’t feel like we had the quality to make that jump. With Sheffield United, it’s different. We have the quality, the depth, and the hunger to make it happen.”

“Playing with players who read the game so well, who understand football at a deeper level, makes it easier for me as a player. It’s a different environment from what I experienced at Coventry, and I think that’s why I’ve been able to shine here.”

“I’m in a good place now, and I’m excited about what’s ahead. The Premier League is the ultimate goal, and I believe we have everything we need at Sheffield United to make that happen.”

As mentioned, the above quotes are FAKE.
