Our live stream ahead of Saturday night’s Premier League match West Brom v Sheffield Utd is now up and running, kicking off at 8:00pm.
You can keep an eye on the commentary as it happens below, but first, we take a preview into the fixture, lineups, predictions and much more.
In each side’s previous game, Sheffield United continued their miserable form, losing 1-0 to West Ham. The Hammers move up to eighth in the Premier League table thanks to Sebastien Haller’s rocket at Sheffield United; Blades remain winless and will have to make Premier League history if they are to avoid relegation.
West Brom lost 1-0 to Man Utd. Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side sealed their first home league win of season in controversial style; Ref David Coote overturned a West Brom penalty after seeing replay; He gave Utd a spot-kick for handball; Bruno Fernandes’ initial penalty saved but scored at second time of asking to seal the win.
PRESS CONFERENCES:
Wilder on Lys Mousset returning
He’s been a huge miss for us.
He’s been outstanding since his transfer. He’s a game-changer with raw pace and he brings something out of the ordinary.
Lys comes into that category and we’re delighted to have him back.
You saw the effect that John Fleck had on the team last week. It’s the same with Lys – he’s lifted the place.
Wilder on fine margins
Apart from maybe the last 20 minutes at Chelsea, it’s been fine margins.
I’m delighted it’s been tight but I’m not delighted in terms of the results we’ve had.
They’ve not been where we’d like them to be. Listening to other people I respect in the game, they agree.
Wilder on injuries
There is an issue with Enda, as he missed out against West Ham. But we’ll give him an opportunity.
There’s also another (injury) that I won’t publicise.
We’ve had a few lately but all these are contact injuries.
Wilder on defeats
I’ve analysed the game from Sunday. West Ham have definitely improved since last year.
It was a tight game last year when we played them and it was last week.
If we’d have won last week I don’t think people would have said it was a smash-and-grab.
You have to stick to your beliefs and principles. But belief is key to our first three points.
Wilder on McBurnie
He had a decent first season in the Premier League.
Players go through periods like they all do, and have to come out the other side.
I’m sure Oli will.
Wilder on belief
They still believe and we have to keep going, as we all do.
Cards on the table, before a ball was kicked there’s probably 12 teams that would take 17th position.
We should be in a dogfight every year really, from where we’ve come from.
But we don’t want that gap to grow and we want to claw it back as quickly as possible.
Wilder on WBA
They’ve been a team that’s spent a lot of time in the Premier League.
They’ve signed a few but they’ve got Livermore, Bartley and a few more.
They’ve had some positive performances just as we have. Slaven is a football man just as much as I am.
I’m expecting a tough one.

West Brom boss Slaven Bilic: “I’m so positive when I see the training so good, the team training so hard, the team giving everything. I like this challenge,” a chirpy Bilic said.
“We have a good atmosphere and we are ready for this big game.”
On the team news front, Bilic offered a positive update.
“I have to praise our medical team because a couple of weeks ago we had many cases, maybe 15 cases, it was a high,” Bilic began. “They didn’t affect the game that much, a couple of them didn’t play against Spurs before the international break.
“A few of them weren’t in the squad against Manchester United but it was good timing at least, because it was the international break. Thank God, and thanks to our medical team and the players and staff who looked after themselves, from the tests that we did on Monday, all the tests were negative.
“Jake Livermore and Kieran Gibbs are negative, but unfortunately even though they’re negative one of them still feels a bit rough. For one of them it’s probably going to be a bit too early, the game on Saturday, but we’re going to see. It’s good news for us. All the other guys are well and okay.”
“Sam (Field) is a bit of an unlucky guy with injuries. He had that thing in training before the Southampton game,” Bilic added. “Then he got corona, ten days ago, and he was out. Now he’s back. Maybe corona helped a little bit, because he was on the verge of joining us but then it might’ve been a bit too early!
“Now we have double secured it. He’s back, he’s negative regarding the virus and his knee is stable. It’s good. He’s a very positive lad, I like him as a player, he knows that. I expect him very soon to start training with us.”

LINEUPS:
West Bromwich Albion possible starting lineup:
Johnstone; Furlong, Ajayi, Bartley, Townsend; Pereira, Sawyers, Krovinovic, Gallagher, Diangana; Grant
Sheffield United possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; Basham, Egan, Robinson; Baldock, Berge, Norwood, Fleck, Lowe; McBurnie, McGoldrick
THATSAGOAL TIPS:
Correct Score 0-0 – 17/2 with FanTeam
If there was ever a fixture that had 0-0 written all over it, this is the one. West Brom and Sheffield United are two of the league’s lowest scorers and neither have shown that they have a reliable goalscorer in their ranks.
Both sides are struggling for points early on and you’d suspect that neither manager would be too upset with a point here.
Mark Lawrenson’s prediction: West Brom 1-1 Sheff Utd
