Birmingham City are the current favourite to win the title. They will be hoping for an immediate return to the Championship and have spent big in order to do so.

Bolton Wanderers are second favourites to go up, after falling short in the League One playoff final to Oxford United. So they’re expected for another high finish for the forthcoming season, one thing that hasn’t gone their way however is the wait for fresh additions to the squad.

Similar to Birmingham, Rotherham are aiming to bounce back having also suffered relegation last season. Under Steve Evans, and some great signings, fans are feeling optimistic that they can push for a promotion place.

Remember, football is unpredictable, and surprises happen. Injuries, form, and team dynamics can shift the landscape. And this looks to be the toughest League One season in years when you look at the teams listed.
