Darlington ban supporter from home games after incident at Farsley Celtic

After finding out that a Darlington fan invaded the pitch not once but twice within the first half of the game, where the Quakers found themselves surprisingly 3-0 down by the break, fans took to give their thoughts on the culprit…

Quaker85: I walked past him at the end of the first half and he looked like he wanted to fight the world. The guy has serious issues.

Fat josh: Bout five foot wide the fat little alcoholic…. He’s been giving it the big Danny Dyer for a while now… Utter disgrace

real_darlo_85: He is very passionate about the club but, if the story is true, this sort of behaviour is totally unacceptable and deserves a lengthy ban. You cannot do this and the repercussions for the club can be potentially very damaging in terms of a punishment!

darlo2001uk: People go to a game to watch football and have a good time, not to watch some idiot get involved in ‘a bit of handbags’. Why can you not get that into your retarded little brain? Ban him.

lifetime darlo fan: Me and a few of my mates always laugh at Andy Park. He is utterly ridiculous. I think a recent highlight was when he was shouting at the top of his voice “pedo” to the opposition keeper whilst holding his daughter in his arms. I’d be embarrassed if one of my pals had done this never mind in front of his Daughter/Father. He is a vile, alcoholic idiot who needs banning from the club. Everyone at the club knows him and he is a recurrent problem for fans and the club alike. I mean there is an entire thread dedicated to his antics. The sooner he is banned the better. And for that supporters bus, christ I would have hated to be on the bus and all credit to the driver for doing it. I bet the bus was covered in piss and beer cans by the time is arrived back in Darlington.

joshdarlington: I organise the coach along with Andy, it’s a non profitable venture, we charge people the exact amount that the coach firm charge, we just want to give people another option for away travel. The supporters coach is basically for oldies, trains are dear and car travel is a pain in the arse. I didn’t see the incident mentioned but I’ve known Andy for many years and I know that he isn’t the kind of lad to just go and whack someone for no reason. As far as I’m aware he hopped the fence to re arrange our banner, then yes he did something daft by flinging the goalies bottle, but when confronted after jumping back into the stand it became heated and led to a bit of hand bags, nothing more. The lad is a hard core darlo fan and doesn’t go to cause trouble at all, he may get pissed up and get a bit lairy but he is not a violent man and wouldn’t hit someone for no reason at all.
