World Cup of EFL Crests: The winner and results are revealed following a tournament we at Fan Banter created and launched in mid-March.

It came at a time the coronavirus suspended professional football matches, so whilst many were bored at home not knowing what to do now that football was out of their lives, we came to the rescue and gave them something to look forward.

It started off with 13 groups consisting of 5 EFL teams and one group of 6 teams. 2 groups had 2 clubs that had the most votes went through to the knockout stages and the other 12 groups had one team advance.

From there on it was knockout stages, with the round of 16, quarter final, semi final and the grand final.

There was an impressive total amount of votes, which stood at 129,492 – and we thank you for everyone that took part.

One football club took it upon themselves to share our posts, hoping for a boost in votes in their favour, that was Plymouth Argyle, so a big thanks to them.
