It was a night of celebration for Bolton Wanderers who played their first home game under new ownership which they ended up losing.
Over 9,000 were in attendance to watch and show their support to the youngsters but also the new additions for the Leasing.com Trophy fixture.
It was so busy that the start was delayed by around 10 minutes because of congestion around the University of Bolton Stadium.
After 90 minutes was played out, the score ended up being 1-1 with Dennis Politic giving the youthful Trotters an early lead, before Paudie O’Connor got one back for Bradford to take it to a penalty shootout.
Bradford ended up winning it 4-3 after 17 year old Bolton player Adam Senior turned his back on keeper Sam Hornby, then turned and raced towards the ball before having his effort saved.

As he made his way back to his teammates who were left deflated, the Bantams players ran in celebration towards their shot stopper, only for Jermaine Anderson to bizarrely push and try to start a fight with young Bolton player.
The most disgusting behaviour I’ve ever seen. Attacking a young lad who missed a penalty. 23 year old lad acting like that. Should be ashamed @JermaineA96 #BWFC pic.twitter.com/e0Jho5f4XX

It is not been said what provoked the attack whether anything was said or purely just because of how Senior took the penalty.
