After finding out that David Moyes and Mark Hughes are the top two favourites to become the next manager for Everton if Marco Silva is sacked, fans gave their reaction with many not pleased…
I think what's most disheartening, is that CV wise, both Hughes & Moyes are an actual upgrade on Silva – which, in itself, tells u how rotten an appointment that Silva was & has proved over the last 16 months.

From talking about Mourinho & Simeone to being on the verge of appointing Moyes or Hughes this is absolutely brilliant, don't ever change the Ev ? #silvaout

What’s so bad about Moyes coming back? He was very successful, understands the club. There’s no Ryan Giggs to poison the dressing room.

Club has made so may poor choices over managers in the last four years. Got the feeling nobody knows who the right person is. Reckon it will take a stroke of luck to find that man. One thing is certain the current league position is nowhere near good enough.

One tweeted: “If we employ Moyes or Mark Hughes then I’m done. Let alone winning anything, Moyes has failed at United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham.
“Hughes was sacked when Stoke and Southampton were in the relegation zone! Sound familiar?! Don’t you dare Everton.”
Another said: “If Mark Hughes was ever to become Everton manager then I am going to bow out gracefully and leave you to it, there is only so much s*** you can take before you call it a day and that would be it for me.”
A third added: “Keep Mark Hughes away from Everton football club cannot stand the man.”
Another commented: “General consensus on Everton twitter today is if Mark Hughes comes near our club, Goodison will be empty every game. Rightly so.”
One typed: “I am normally a very positive happy person but if Hughes comes in ( which I don’t think would happen ) that would be the end of me and Everton. Would rather my time and money spent on something better.”
