• Wolves is the ‘likely destination’ for 25 year old Sporting CP defensive midfielder João Palhinha – there is interest from Spain and France, but an England move is preferred.
• Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Watford winger Ismaila Sarr as a potential alternative to Adama Traore. While the West Midlands outfit have little desire to sell one of their key men, it remains to be seen how they would react if they received an offer in excess of £60m.
• Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, 28, has told team-mates he needs to leave for a Premier League club to maintain his England hopes. West Ham have joined Newcastle in considering a bid for Wilson, while both clubs are among a quartet of sides keen on signing his team-mate David Brooks. Tottenham are also interested in signing 28-year-old England international Wilson, while Crystal Palace and Leicester are keen on Wales winger Brooks.

• Leeds, West Ham and Arsenal plan to rival Chelsea for Brentford’s star man Said Benrahma, according to reports. He has 17 goals and nine assists to his name from 45 appearances.
• According to a report from Foot Mercato, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Man City and Man Utd are interested in signing French wing-back, Rayan Ait Nouri. Impressively, Ait Nouri has provided three assists in 17 games of his breakthrough season.
• Liverpool have signed 16-year-old Polish sensation Mateusz Musialowski from SMS Lodz. (The Sun)
