• Leeds United are closely monitoring Liverpool youngster Yasser Larouci, but do not want to meet the Reds’ financial demands, according to The Athletic.

• Leeds, West Ham and Arsenal plan to rival Chelsea for Brentford’s star man Said Benrahma, according to reports. He has 17 goals and nine assists to his name from 45 appearances.

• English right-back Jeremy Ngakia, 19, is close to joining Watford on a free transfer after leaving West Ham. (Guardian)

• Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, 28, has told team-mates he needs to leave for a Premier League club to maintain his England hopes. West Ham have joined Newcastle in considering a bid for Wilson, while both clubs are among a quartet of sides keen on signing his team-mate David Brooks. Tottenham are also interested in signing 28-year-old England international Wilson, while Crystal Palace and Leicester are keen on Wales winger Brooks.
