– Gareth Bale says that it will “cause chaos” if he announces his plans now, as he comes to the end of his loan spell with Tottenham.

– Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly open to a summer switch and has already ‘spoken’ to a few top Premier League clubs.

– Newcastle United are closing in on their first signing of the summer, according to reports. The Sunday Mirror claim that the Magpies have won the race to sign Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer – and for just £6m.

– Crystal Palace’s 28-year-old Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha says if a “top” club wanted to sign him he “wouldn’t turn it down”. He has been linked with clubs including Arsenal and Everton. (The Face)

– Chris Wilder plans to make a move for Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle should he get the West Brom job. (Mirror)

– According to transfer news from Football.london, Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley is the subject of interest from Newcastle and West Ham. The Blues are set to demand £30million for the player who spent the last season out on loan at Aston Villa.

– John Terry is keen on bringing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Aston Villa this summer. (Daily Star)

– Chelsea are ready to re-sign Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku this summer with the Italian club prepared to listen to offers for the 28-year-old Belgian to ease their financial concerns. (Mail)

– Wolves winger Adama Traore has emerged as a shock target for Chelsea, as Thomas Tuchel prepares for summer reinforcements this summer.

– West Brom are set to demand a ‘staggering’ £20million for in-demand goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. Leeds United, Manchester United, and West Ham are all said to be interested in the stopper.

– Leeds United want to sign Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez more than anyone else, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

– Aston Villa believe they have edged ahead of Arsenal in the race to sign Norwich star Emiliano Buendia. (Football Insider)

– Former Derby County defender Jayden Bogle is being linked with a quick return to the Premier League. Norwich are keen to bring him in as a replacement for Aarons.

– Newcastle United are apparently interested in recruiting Billy Gilmour from Chelsea on loan ahead of next season. According to The Northern Echo, Newcastle have made contact with Chelsea, explaining their eagerness to grab Gilmour if he becomes available in the summer.

– Aston Villa are tracking Burnley winger Dwight McNeil as Dean Smith looks to bolster his options on the flanks next season.

– Turkish giants Galatasaray are the latest club to show an interest in Sheffield United starlet Ismaila Coulibaly, and are rumoured to have made a bid just under £13m to sign him. However, the Blades are expected to hold out for more. (Sky Sports)

– Sheffield United will not be bullied into selling Sander Berge on the cheap and have set their asking price at over £35m for the Norway midfielder. Arsenal are keeping an eye but Jokanovic not under pressure to let him go.

– Southampton, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Norwich, Fulham and West Brom have been credited with an interest in Barnsley’s loan sensation Daryl Dike. The 20-year-old scored nine goals in 21 games for the Tykes last season, and would cost the Tykes £17m to sign on a permanent deal. (Team Talk)

– Southampton have reportedly move ahead of Newcastle United and West Ham in the race to sign Blackburn Rovers’ Adam Armstrong, reports Express Sport.

– Man City are reportedly willing to offer Tottenham Hotspur two players (Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus) in a part-exchange deal for Harry Kane this summer.

– Watford want to sign striker Eddie Nketiah for their Premier League return, but Arsenal want £15m for the England youth international, who has a year left on his Emirates Stadium contract. (Sun)

– Crystal Palace have shown interest in a summer move for FC Copenhagen’s 22-year-old Danish centre-back Victor Nelsson, who has previously been linked with Aston Villa. (Mail on Sunday)

– Manchester United are monitoring former forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation at Juventus, as “agents connected” with the Portugal striker, 36 , say he “could genuinely leave” the Turin club.

– Watford are expected to complete the signing of Nantes midfielder Imran Louza as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

– Reports claim Leicester City are eyeing a summer swoop for Manchester United winger Daniel James but much will depend on the Red Devils’ move for Jadon Sancho.

– Liverpool’s hopes of signing 24-year-old Mali midfielder Yves Bissouma from Brighton have been boosted by Arsenal’s decision to explore other options. (Mail)

– Charlton Athletic loan man Akin Famewo could head out the Norwich City exit door again this summer, as per a report by the Pink ‘Un.
