‘They’re not laughing anymore’ – PL title winners Arsenal mock those who doubted and taunted them

‘They’re not laughing anymore’ – The 2025/26 PL title winners Arsenal mock those who doubted and taunted them.

Celebrations got underway, fans soon rushed to the Emirates Stadium and partied into the early hours, Ian Wright soon joined them, and posted a video, captioned “CAN WE CELEBRATE NOW?!!!”, a dig at the celebration police.

Arsenal players were all gathered round to watch as the final whistle blew on Man City being held to a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, giving the Gunners their first league title in 22 years.

Suddenly, social media soon exploded full of videos, many of those seeing players having the last laugh.

Declan Rice, in a selfie with Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Lewis-Skelly, Saka and William Saliba, posted via Instagram: “I told you all… it’s done” after his rallying cry of “It’s not done” after Man City’s win against Arsenal in April.

Rice also posted on Instagram during the celebrations, sharing a selfie alongside Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Lewis-Skelly, Saka and William Saliba, captioning the post: “I told you all, it’s done.”

Bukayo Saka called out critics, saying in an Instagram video posted by Jurrien Timber: “Light that up.

“Let me tell you something. Twenty-two years, 22 years. there was laughing, there was joking, they’re not laughing anymore. Look, it is going to be shining, it is going to be shining bright.”

Eberechi Eze uploaded two Instagram stories, the first being a picture Martin Odegaard drinking from ‘the bottle’ gone viral by a Man City fan in regards to Arsenal ‘bottling’ the title at the time.

Piero Hincapie was also spotted with a familiar looking water bottle.

Then another story was posted of him with a finger over his mouth as players made their way to the Emirates Stadium at 5am, surprising some fans who were still celebrating outside.

Myles Lewis-Skelly said via Saka’s Insta: “They called us bottlers, now we are holding the bottles.”

Noni Madueke sang in one video: “No time for losers”.

Arsenal fans also spotted a Tottenham fan at a tube station and cheekily taunted him, he took it well to be fair!

Jamie Redknapp praised Arsenal on Sky Sports, saying: “They’ve shown they’ve got unbelievable character. And I think to even level that, ‘they’ve been bottlers’, they haven’t been.

“They were just against one of the most incredible teams in Manchester City that were just relentless.

“They just stretched them and they made them become better and they’ve had to find a way, they’ve had to maybe get those marginal games that you need to do, set pieces, goalkeeper, everything that he’s done, Mikel Arteta to find a way to turn his team into title winners.

“And you have to credit the Kroenke’s as well., because they could have maybe just gone under the pressure at times of maybe feeling like it wasn’t the right thing. Is he gonna be the winner? He’s proved tonight that Mikel Arteta is a winner.”

Details on Arsenal Premier League title parade confirmed

A statement on www.arsenal.com read: We are PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! Thank you to our supporters for being with us every step of the way on this incredible journey – showing up and turning out for each other and taking us back to where we belong.

You’ve all stood behind us and willed us on to this point, and we cannot wait to lift the trophy at Selhurst Park in front of our travelling supporters after the final whistle this weekend.

We are delighted to announce that we will come together with our supporters and community for a special parade around our home borough of Islington, starting from 2pm on Sunday 31 May, to celebrate our title.

This follows our UEFA Champions League Final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday 30 May, at 5pm (UK time). Should we be successful in this game, our parade will also celebrate this historic triumph.

This will be a major public event, and we anticipate large numbers of supporters will turn out in the local area.

We hope you are able to join our celebrations on the day. Local residents and businesses should be advised that the event will lead to disruption across the borough that will involve road closures and parking suspensions. You may also find it difficult to move normally around the borough or pass through the route.

We will communicate more details on the parade closer to the time, which will only be published on our website and other official Arsenal channels.
