If you remember all the way back to the beginning of the season, you might recall that two National League sides featured in the Scottish Challenge Cup.
The non league sides from England took part for the 2018/19 season were Boreham Wood and Sutton United who joined teams from Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with the Scottish Premiership Under-20s and sides from the Championship, League One and League Two, plus clubs from the Highland and Lowland League.
Those two sides were the highest ranked teams still remaining to take part from the second round.
Well it’s now been confirmed for the new season that it will be Wrexham along with Solihull Moors, both teams lost in the playoffs.
For the past few seasons, it’s been sponsored by Irn-Bru, but not for the 2019/20 season as that will be the turn of Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer.

There will also be 10 clubs from the Scottish Championship and of course those 14 winners from the second round, the draw for that being recently done.
