Panjab Warriors’ decision to part with kit supplier leaves Morecambe fans disgusted

Panjab Warriors’ decision to part with their kit supplier leaves Morecambe fans disgusted, with many giving their thoughts via social media.

The National League strugglers announced that it will part ways with Terrace Teamwear after the 2025/26 season, calling it a mutual decision with no further explanation.

Terrace Teamwear were a hit with fans, a bond which strengthened off the back of their kits, low prices, and also stepping up as the Shrimps were near collapse, setting up a pop-up shop.

But the club’s decision to terminate the technical kit and retail partnership has slammed it as out of touch.

CLUB STATEMENT:

Morecambe Football Club can confirm that the Club and Terrace have mutually agreed an early exit to their technical kit and retail partnership, which will come to an end at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Since the partnership began in 2023, Terrace have played a significant role in supporting the Club both on and off the pitch, delivering Morecambe FC’s first professional technical kit partnership and helping to redefine how clubs across the football pyramid can work creatively and authentically with modern brands.

Throughout the partnership, the Club and Terrace worked collaboratively to prioritise fair pricing, supporter engagement, and a strong retail offering, while building a distinctive identity that resonated with supporters locally and nationally.

The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Carl Sewell and the entire Terrace team for their commitment, passion, and innovation during their time with Morecambe FC, as well as for their flexibility and cooperation in agreeing an exit that supports the Club’s long-term strategic objectives.

STATEMENT FROM TERRACE TEAMWEAR

From Stamford Bridge to the beach café, our journey with Morecambe FC has delivered an experience we will never forget. As a brand, we gained a family and stood shoulder to shoulder covering miles with the shrimps. We’ve been filled with joy and pride, alongside some sleepless nights in between, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.

We can now confirm Morecambe FC have expressed a wish to explore new avenues for technical kit and retail. With this in mind, the club ownership have successfully negotiated an exit agreement for an early conclusion at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The path taken is one we will forever be thankful for our first professional technical partnership, which we championed as a platform to show what is possible for football clubs up and down the pyramid. Fair pricing, creative connection, and conducting business with fans put first.

A notable thank you to Martin Thomas, Ben Sadler, Robert Smith and the previous board of directors for trusting in our vision back in 2023 and believing in our ability. Without your belief, we would have never climbed the ladder and achieved numerous other accolades nationally to date.

To Natalie and Grace, our club shop faces. You are the unsung heroes through every step of our tenure. Thank you for the effort and commitment you deliver every day.

Finally, the fans. A fanbase like no other. You have faced the abyss and stared it right in the face without fear. You accepted terrace as one of your own. We listened to you and you rewarded us. You stood by our side even during club turmoil in summer 2025.

From us to you, quite simply, yet never enough,

Thank you.

As mentioned, the Panjab Warriors’ decision to part with their kit supplier leaves Morecambe fans disgusted…

@gm888__: I fucking hate this club, genuinely never ever felt like this but I have zero interest in going to another game. We are a fucking disaster – fold the club

@The1920Union: This is why we are boycotting. Incompetency and shocking decision making from top to bottom. Ropinder Singh and Ashvir Singh Johal, you are both way out of your depth and need to resign immediately.

@CallCrookes: Another major own goal by the club. Thank you @theterracestore who have been exceptional throughout their tenure, especially the graft they put in when all hope seemed lost during the Summer.

@JakeEnglish_: Shame on you Panjab Warriors. Just when we thought you couldn’t go any lower. The Terrace are the only professional aspect of the club at the moment, everything else is utterly amateurish. Will be interesting to see which close associates of yours get the contract won’t it.

@oliverdaniel24: Nail in the coffin. A business/partner that actually understands the club and provided excellent designs

@MorecambeFCFeed: The Terrace have done an exemplary job, providing immense quality at affordable prices. Communicated so well with supporters during the awful situation in the summer. @Panjabwarriors, shame on you. And we’re still waiting on the permanent hires that were promised 2 months ago. I’m ready for the club to be renamed Panjab Warriors FC once our relegation to NLN is confirmed, as I believe we’d then be outside the Football Regulator’s remit (?). Better start planning to form a phoenix, Panjab do NOT have the best intentions of the club & community at heart. Only promotion since 2007 was behind closed doors. Ownership turmoil for over a decade – 3 different sets of awful ownership. Will be three relegations in four years. Heart of the club being ripped out. We’re the worst club to support in the country.

@thescreenster: You haven’t got a single big decision right since you took over. You’ve alienated most of the fanbase. You are either completely incompetent or have ulterior motives to try and destroy our club. Absolute fucking embarrassment of a ownership @Panjabwarriors I am done with you

@JCrook93: Wankers. I hope @shrimpstrust are seriously considering a phoenix club, once the last leg inevitably falls off this dying horse.

@HarrisonRey88: I cannot imagine there are many clubs in the country that will get such a unanimously disappointed reaction to their kit suppliers leaving, and that is testament to everything Carl and Terrace have done. Yet more bleak news, the Panjab reign still shows no sign of resurgence…

@AdyHutchinson: That’s a really disappointing decision in a series of very bad decisions made by @panjabwarriors since they took over the club. The guys from @TerraceTeamwear did an amazing job, not just with the kits, but also connecting with the people who support @MorecambeFC

@harry_statter: Fuck off Panjab. Bled the club dry of everything it stands for

@SBJJC97: @theterracestore: working wonders with kits and overall sales – Got rid of them @AshvirJohal: underperforming and taking us down – Not a whiff of danger for him. Sort it out immediately @Panjabwarriors

@OHainsworth: The terrace are the last people you should be mutually ending a partnership with….. A certain Ashvir springs to mind.

@Caprani14: Probably can’t be arsed with the shit show of a club we’ve become. Fuck Ashvir, Tomlin and Ropinder off immediately

@SBJJC97: This is a complete and utter shambles. The football is dreadful, the mood around the club is dread and the only shining light was @theterracestore as they actually cared about our club. Out of all the terrible decisions this one might actually be the worst.

@_footyheritage: When Morecambe were days away from folding, Terrace supported the club and supporters despite the uncertainty. They were superb. Not even 6 months on and the new Morecambe owners have cast them aside. Unreal. Out of touch and, seemingly, out of time.
