Jose Sa produces an unbelievable save against Everton to leave fans stunned in a big Premier League win for Wolves on Saturday.
The 30 year old made two world-class saves before substitute Sasa Kalajdic netted his first goal to end a year of personal turmoil having suffered an injury last season.
Now video footage has emerged showing the stunning save where Sa somehow tipped the ball over the bar after Everton’s stumbling attepts to try and score, something the Toffees are still yet to do in the Prem this season.
It is zero goals and zero points after three league games for the first time in Everton’s history, and despite it still being early days, fans are already expecting relegation, even more so now with the club rock bottom.

Player of the match: Jose Sa.
Everton manager Sean Dyche spoke to Sky Sports: “It’s very frustrating. We were miles off it last weekend, but got back on it today with a good performance. It’s a performance that should win but we didn’t, so we have to take responsibility for that. It’s not just one individual, but collectively. We’ve created enough quality chances. Their keeper is probably man of the match.”
“We are stretched and the market is not easy for us, so that would help. The reality is, I’m not going to make excuses – you’ve still performed and done the job you need to do except from score. The capability is there. There’s no lack of effort. I said that even last week. The stats will be good around the effort of the team.”
On the supporters: “I take it as the reality of the job here at Everton. People keep telling me to sign two centre forwards, it’s not rocket science. It’s not difficult to work that one out. We wanted to, but it costs money and we work hard in the market. We have to work diligently in the market. There’s still time yet and we’re trying to construct deals that will work in our favour.”
On his new starters: “They performed in a team unit and they’ve delivered as a team unit. No one thinks about that, they just see the scoreline. It’s really frustrating but we can’t just say we’re frustrated every week. We have to go out and correct that.”
Wolves manager Gary O’Neil to Sky Sports: “I’m not really relieved, I’m just pleased for the lads. They’ve had a real go and we’ve missed chances. Things hadn’t gone our way. I thought the performance was good, there is lots of room for improvement. The group showed real character and resilience and stood up to everything Everton threw at them, which you need at Goodison Park.
“We had some moments of quality and we missed some chances then you wonder if it’s one of them days. I’m pleased for the boys because they’ve worked hard for me.”
“It’s nice to get it [the first win]. No one likes being stuck on zero. Coming here and winning is tough. I think we could have made it easier for ourselves with a little bit more control, but I also have to remember we are about 14 days in.”
On Sasa Kalajdzic: “He’s had a tough spell, he’s been working very hard everyday. Similar to the rest of the boys, they’re working really hard on improving habits and how we work. They’re a group who commit to things. There’s only so long you can say performances are getting to where we want without the points.”
On goalkeeper Jose Sa: “Sa made a big save when we were in the ascendency as well, they managed to break away and he made a great save. It would have knocked the stuffing out of us a little bit if we had conceded while on top. It was a big save.”
