Leeds United bring back the much loved retro club crest’ the smiley’ as they wow fans with their new 2024/25 away kit.

The club’s new strip had been leaked this week, in days leading up to the official unveiling on Wednesday, and it’s a blast from the past!

The kit, which will no doubt be a a very popular purchase for supporters this summer, features the iconic badge from the 1970s, which is sure to bring back some fond memories for Leeds fans.

Predominantly yellow, with blue and white accents, and even includes a retro collar design. It’s a nod to the club’s rich history and a stylish way to stand out on the pitch.

Leeds United and adidas are proud to launch the 24/25 away kit, a vibrant and modern reimagining of the club’s storied history.

Inspired by the shirt worn in 1974, this bold yellow jersey prominently displays the iconic smiley badge used at the time.

This highly anticipated shirt release features a distinctive blue tipped button-up collar and the signature adidas 3 stripes in split blue and white across the shoulders. The kit is rounded off with matching yellow shorts and socks, adorned with blue taping and LUFC scripture, creating a cohesive and stylish look.

Both the colour yellow and the smiley crest are iconic parts of the clubs’ history and we hope fans will enjoy wearing this modern interpretation with pride throughout this season.”

The 24/25 shirt proudly showcases the front-of-shirt sponsor, Red Bull, in a sleek, colour-matched blue that harmonises with the adidas logo and the sleeve sponsor, BOXT.

Made with AEROREADY, the new away shirt is specifically designed to keep the body feeling dry and comfortable.

The kit is now available online and Leeds United stores are open from 9am for fans eager to purchase the new away kit for the 24/25 campaign.

The 24/25 away kit is also available to purchase in-store and online from our UK retail partner JD Sports and in Norway with Torshov Sport.
