Kieran Trippier confuses his fellow England teammates with a bizarre Wembley tunnel antics after the game against Andorra.

The Atletico Madrid defender was placed as a left-back by Gareth Southgate during the 4-0 World Cup qualifying victory at Wembley Stadium during the weekend.

Playing their first ‘home’ games just 56 days on from their Euro 2020 final heartbreak, the Three Lions were welcomed back by their jubilant fans and put on a professional display against the European minnows.

It seemed as though the Andorra players were just as star struck when coming up against one England player as they asked Kieran Trippier to swap shorts after learning he had already agreed to give away his shirt.

Cameras located within the Wembley tunnel spotted a unique moment with the former Tottenham right-back stripping to just his underwear as he handed over his shirt and shorts.

Meanwhile, Kieran Trippier has hailed Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka as ‘unbelievable’, as he told his post-match press conference.

“Bukayo, I know he is a young lad, but mentally he is strong,” said Trippier. “We were all there for him.

“But now it’s about him moving forward and enjoying his football, as he showed tonight. He was unbelievable, on his birthday as well.

“The thing with Bukayo is that he is a very strong character. A very good person to have around the place. The boys love him.

“The most important thing is that every training session and every game, he plays with a smile on his face and he has certainly shown that tonight.”

Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane is infamously against swapping shirts or even pleasantries with opposition players and told former teammate Gary Neville about the one time he asked a player for a shirt swap.

“I’ve asked one player to swap a jersey which I regret,” Keane recalled. 

“Pre the ‘94 World Cup, [Ireland] played Germany in a friendly, and okay we beat them, I was being polite and the sweeper [Matthias] Sammer, said no, and I went ‘You f*****’ and that was it.

“I just thought, I shouldn’t be asking anybody, honestly it was polite, not that I wanted his jersey.”

Let’s hope he stays off Instagram and doesn’t see Trippier stripping to the bare minimum. We know how quick Keane can flip out.

“I’m disgusted with players,” he said.

“You’re going to war. They’re hugging, and kissing.

“Don’t even look at the opposition, you’re going to battle against them.”

“Has the game changed?” Asks Dave Jones.

“The game hasn’t changed that much,” Keane responds, “[but] the players have changed.”
