Heated scenes played out on the pitch as Poland and England players come to blows after the half time whistle blew on Wednesday’s clash.
By the halfway point of the 90, the World Cup qualifier was at 0-0, however both squads came to blows when on their way down the tunnel.
Poland’s Kamil Glik could be seen getting led away by his team-mates and England skipper Harry Kane is incensed too by what he witnessed.
Both sets of players were piling in, with some of the teammates of both squads trying their hardest to diffuse the situation.
Kamil Glik tried to escape down the tunnel but the referee called him back.
Daniel Siebert was spotted having a chat with the Poland player as well as England defender Harry Maguire. Both players were then booked with Maguire asking why?
John Murray (the BBC football correspondent) wrote: “We’ve got trouble… Harry Maguire has reacted, he is extremely unhappy about something. Jordan Pickford’s involved as this melee continues. Maguire is incensed, he is furious.

Terry Butcher (on BBC Radio 5 Live) said: “England have got to keep their heads, Gareth Southgate will be happy to get his players into the dressing room and just calm them down.
“England need to be sensible and just get the job done.”
Roy Keane on ITV: “Poland have been really aggressive, plenty of tackling, plenty of fouls. England have to be careful not to get drawn into that. I’m not saying back down but make sure you focus on the game.”
Sky Sports’ Adam Bate: “As professional athletes go, Glik and Maguire are heavyweights so that was a bit spicy. Reflects the game so far, to be fair. Fiercely contested.”
Maguire seemed baffled by his caution, with Lewandowski appearing to pinch the neck of Kyle Walker during the altercation.

Jordan Pickford also got stuck in, with the ref doing well to calm things down before he would’ve been forced to show any red cards.
The fixture has been confrontational since the start, with some Poland fans choosing to boo the taking of the knee by the Three Lions.
Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski was seen pointing to the respect badge on his shirt sleeve in the moments before kick-off.
England’s players are resolved to continuing to take the knee despite the negative response they have received – even from their own fans on occasion.
On the 71st minute, England break the deadlock through Harry Kane, who else, with the skipper receiving the ball 25-30 yards, spun and leathered a dipping drive which swerves past Wojciech Szczesny and it landed in the bottom corner.
Gareth Southgate would have been left frustrated however as Poland scored in injury time thanks to Damian Szymanski, sparking wild scenes inside the ground.
Still in good shape 👊

Harry Kane on BBC Radio 5 Live: “A kick in the teeth at the end there, it’s never easy conceding in the last minute. It was a good performance from the boys though, we controlled the game well.
“Of course [there was an ‘edgy’ atmosphere], we’re playing for the opportunity to play in the World Cup. Poland clearly saw this as their last opportunity to take some points off us and get closer to us in the group.
“I thought we handled it well. The Hungary game and this game away from home were not easy to play in. The boys stepped up and put in good performances.
“There was an incident just before half-time which has been reported to the FA guys. They’re taking care of it and investigating it and we’ll go from there.
“Allegedly it was something that was done, not said. We haven’t chance to look at the footage and talk to the lad.”
Gareth Southgate on an alleged incident: “We’re getting to grips with what that was. There’s been a report put in and we need to find out a little bit more about what’s happened.
“At the moment we’re still gathering all the evidence so there’s no point in me speculating any further.”
England manager Gareth Southgate on BBC Radio 5 Live: “It was no surprise that this was the hardest game in the group. Early in the game, we were a little slow to move the ball and Poland pressed us well.
“We got caught in our own half a few times but we recovered well and defended those situations well. As the half wore on we started to get a grip of the game and gain more control without making really any clear chances – other than Harry Kane’s header at the far post.
“In the second half we controlled the game. If there’s a criticism it’s that we didn’t create enough clear chances from that possession and we didn’t get enough players in the box.
“While it’s one-nil you run the risk of what happened at the end. We’re clearly disappointed not to get the three points but I have to look at what the players have done across these three matches.
“Given that there was no way of telling how they would react after what happened in the [Euro 2020 final], I think their mentality and application has been really good.
“We wanted to make substitutions towards the end, but when the goal went in we thought there was no point because we would be adding time on.
“We were playing well, we were in control. At those moments, it’s not easy to come on as a substitute and we would be taking people off for the sake of it, frankly.
“We were in total control, there was no issue, why disrupt it when you’re in control?”

@1904Irrelevants: Arguing over who’s worse. Matterface or Dixon. Bring back Clive and Ally McCoist.
@tbaldwin1992: We would have known what happened if we weren’t loooking at the crowd 👍
@mikew191: If only you could maybe show us? Ah adverts.
@markwillisWP: Referee is so poor. Losing control of the game.
@Celeb_FC: Sorry but how can #Glik be allowed to do what he did. No wonder it kicked off! #walker #England
@safetywatto: Glik has one of those faces that just says “prick”
@TJ932O: What’s glik doing feeling up Walkers chin
@Wardolf: Glik looks like he’s an absolute prick doesn’t he. Maguire needs to drop his massive nut on him.
@Alex_Humphries: Maguire looked like he’d take great pleasure in laying Glik out then… #POLENG
@apnelhams3: Ref’s booked the pair of em so likely a blatant headbutt from Glik and Maguire did nowt if that first half’s worth of decisions is anything to go by
@Smudgeboy99: Glik has been trying to start fights with every player all half – the reason this has blown up is that this ref has let him get away with it in an effort to keep the peace. #POLENG
@gfcjordan: Why did Kamil Glik look like he was gonna cry when Maguire was shoving him at the free kick? Assume that’s what made it kick off, 33 years of age lmao
@r4h4al: Don’t know didn’t see Maguire do anything wrong…#POLENG
@Holly_VicUK: That yellow card for Maguire is absolutely ridiculous… Glik fucking lucky to still be in this game
@Ryankeirwalker: Maguire clobbered Glik, my captain
@toughy92: Maguire booked for Glik being a cunt. This referee is tragic. #POLENG
@hopdoodle: Don’t even care about the score now. Just wanna see Maguire chin Glik #POLENG
@tomconrx7: Standard of play from Poland is fucking disgusting.
@DonaldMacca: Lee Dixon might have been a pro footballer but he is bloody clueless in the commentary box, comes out with some strange comments.
@witneywhite: I swear Maguire just used the “do you know who I am line” he used in Greece?!
@povsparker: harry kane protecting his sons >
@Wurzelavfc: Glik off to go and stamp on some puppies. #POLENG
@t7891011: glik and the ref are probably sleeping together tbf #POLENG
@mrperfectlyzac: That Glik just seems to want a fight but why?? Also that ref is terrible. Half of the fouls from us weren’t even fouls (like Phillips didn’t deserve that yellow card!) whilst Poland are fouling us a lot and they’re not getting punished! #POLENG
@Nelie_Humphreys: Maguire probably chatted up Glik’s missus before the game, you know how it is… #POLENG
