Fans left laughing at what these clubs did to entertain themselves on Day 1 of no professional football due to coronavirus.
To take their mind of the disappointment, League Two Leyton Orient treated they fans to a very different matchday… by playing Football Manager.
They faced Bradford City on the video game, but instead if playing out the game and sharing the result they got as many of their fans to take part.
There was a vote to decide the starting XI, how they the team would set up and also were able to make live decisions as the match unfolds.
The voted for the formation for the day but ended in a draw with 31% of voters wanting the lineup in a 4-4-2 and 31% wanted a 4-3-3. 4-4-1-1 (26.2%) and 3-5-2 (11.8%) were the other options.
? Well it was a tie…
Tough times call for true leaders.
So we'll let one of the greatest managers of all time make this call…#FourFourTwo https://t.co/KMSz7Om0KJ pic.twitter.com/ahV76wOkxM

The initiative shown by the club’s media department has been praised widely by the fanbase, even if the game finished 1-0 to Bradford.
33' Goal. Bradford have scored lads ?
It's a cracker from Reeves to be fair, who hammers it home from the edge of the box.
Half-time approaching, where we can have a rethink.

Another team who had the same idea was Premier League side Watford and League Two side Plymouth Argyle – both of which drew 1-1 against Leicester and Morecambe.

On Friday night, League One Gillingham played out their fixture against Fleetwood on FIFA 20, fair to say the hosts were a bit one sided with this one.

Southampton had a completely different approach to today, they decided to challenge fellow Premier League sides to games of noughts and crosses.
Norwich have slacked with a response, however Man City got in on the act.
