The Chairboys sign the out-of-contract striker for an undisclosed fee, and details regarding the length of contract for him have not been disclosed.
The 27 year old, who scored 38 goals across five seasons at Shrewsbury, had been offered a new deal. But fellow League One side Wycombe have swooped for his signature.

SHREWSBURY STATEMENT
Shrewsbury Town are disappointed to confirm Dan Udoh has turned down the offer of a new contract and has left the club to join Wycombe.
Signed from AFC Telford United in May 2019, the striker made 181 appearances in blue and amber, scoring 38 goals.
Dan’s contract with Town expired this summer.
Negotiations with the forward began last August with the club going on to meet his demands in terms of wages and a three-year contract.
But Dan has opted to leave after being offered more money elsewhere.
Shrewsbury Town would like to thank Dan for all his service over the past five years.
OPEN LETTER FROM MICKY MOORE:
“I – and all the staff at the club – would like to wish him the best of luck for the future.
“Dan had a real connection with our supporters. That connection was partly due to his performances and the goals he scored on the pitch.
“But it was also because of the way he conducted himself in and around the club.
“Dan is someone who always has a smile on his face and I know he was great with our fans and in the community.
“It was a real shame to see him move on.
“Contract negotiations began back in August.
“We offered him both the wages and the length of contract he wanted.
“But he has decided to move on and I wish both him and his family nothing but the best.”

WYCOMBE STATEMENT:
Daniel Udoh has joined the Wanderers on a free transfer after leaving Shrewsbury Town at the end of his contract, the club are delighted to announce.
The striker, 27, enjoyed a prolific goalscoring record in non-league and earned his shot at professional football with Crewe Alexandra in 2016, before returning to the EFL in 2019 with the Shrews following a successful season in front of goal with AFC Telford.
He became a fans’ favourite in his five years at Shrewsbury, netting 16 times in 2021/22 and 12 times last term, topping the Shropshire club’s goalscoring charts.
Daniel follows in the footsteps of Alex Hartridge, Jaiden Bartolo, Jack Matton, Nathan Bishop, Brody Peart, Tyreeq Bakinson and Daniel Harvie, who have all joined the Blues this summer.
Matt Bloomfield said: “Dan has got a great eye for goal and works extremely hard for the team, so we’re thrilled that he’s agreed to begin a new chapter in his career by moving to Wycombe and strengthening our attacking options.
“He’s been a handful for our defence whenever we’ve come up against him down the years and we’ve been tracking his progress for some time.
“Adding someone of his calibre to our frontline is another great step forward for us in this transfer window and I think the fans will take him to their hearts quickly.”
His move remains subject to EFL and FA approval.
Writing on social media, Dan Udoh said: “It’s hard to put my feelings into words when emotions are running so high, but it’s never easy to say goodbye.
“To the Salopians, I wholeheartedly thank you for all of your support through the past five years. You took me in as one of yours and made Shropshire my new home.
“I would like to thank Mr Chairman for the opportunity to play for this wonderful club. I am honoured to be part of Shrewsbury Town history.”
As mentioned, fans hit out at Shrewsbury Town for being ‘bitter’ in a statement on Dan Udoh leaving for Wycombe Wanderers…
@RuytonShrew: “STFC are sad to confirm that Dan Udoh has turned down the offer of a new contract and opted to sign for Wycombe Wanderers. We thank him for his superb efforts over five years and wish him all the best for the future – except for when he plays us!” – There, fixed it for you…
@Harry_Stuart04: This is an absolutely disgusting statement and a spit in the face of one of the best players to play for this club in the past decade. Wycherley out.
@GlyndwrWXM: Udoh-nt have a chance of staying up this year
@Damon_Morris_: About as classy as last summers communications. The tone is not befiting a player who has been a big part of us staying in L1 and scored that goal at Anfield.
@TheDragonsDenIH: The “more money” comment is utterly classless.
@BrxdClxrke: I’ve never been so more certain of relegation as a shrews fan! Not looking forward to this season whatsoever! Sell up Wycherley 🤡
@nickjames_1: That statement is awful. Dan Udoh has been a brilliant servant. It is disappointing he is leaving, especially to a division rival – nonetheless, bad taste. I wish Dan all the best and hope he has 44 great league games next season
@BenGreener_: Offered him pennies when they offered pounds. Sour taste this statement and can’t blame him for leaving
@salop_jack: Poor taste that statement
@j86southpaw: “But Dan has opted to leave after being offered more money elsewhere.” This sounds very petty Salop, quite pathetic. While sad, Dan’s well within his rights as a free agent to go where he wants for whatever reasons he wants. Honestly, do better.
@AlexMid74800120: Get out Wycherley and take Moore with you. Dan deserves far more respect than that. Without his goals we’d be back in L2 already. Pathetic club these days.
@TheDanHough: Folks, this isn’t particularly classy. We can and should do better.
@CarolynMH66: Good luck for the future Dan, keep shining 😎
@RichardJamesBa3: Very sad to see him go but what I don’t understand is why we seem to have all the money in the world when it comes to paying for off the field jobs. Moore himself is great example, community liaison person and now a first game analyst apparently. Have we got our priorities wrong
@iMack82: Stay classy lads, blimey
@Cheddarbob931: Wow, sour about it or what.
@hxarv_: Shocking statement
@jaredboyle_ : Really poor statement. Thanks @DanUdz9 model professional and you’ve definitely earned a better deal so all the best 🤛
@BH2thecliffe: Offer him more money then. RW out
@Jdownes15: Wycherley out
@AaronLucifer: Who has approved this? Awful statement from the club for a player who deserves the upmost respect for what he has done in a Town shirt. Thank you for everything Dan 💙
@JCDMartindale: Classy statement lads 👏👏🤦♂️ Who on earth sanctioned that comment, Roland out 👍
@TomOwen06936822: Disgusting statement considering what he’s done for us
@Alexjm05: I hope he gets more than 4 paragraphs as a send off. Wonderful servant to the club. Deserves alot better from the club. The fans deserve WAY better from this club. Shambolic summer so far.
@dirksfadeaway: Shocking to even consider signing off on this in the statement. Have some class Salop. It’s clear we don’t have a pot to piss in.
@George__D2: Only kept you up last season lads
@harrytalksnl: One of your best players over the past 5 years and you give a statement like that? Very poor from the club 👍
@Teyn_blog: Want some salt with that statement, lads?
@BardsleyKarl: STFC are disappointed that dan didn’t accept the £100 and a packet of crisps per week to stay but wish him all the best….. We. Are. A. Joke.
@crewealex7: What a bitter statement. It’s part and parcel of the game, he gave you good service and owes you nothing – now wages freed to bring in someone seeking a new challenge – win/win !!
@oliverhowells5: There’s a little man sat at the top right now who’s kicking and screaming that he’s not getting his way. Should have sold long ago!! The statement is just a disaster, this guy could have left us years ago but he became the fan favourite! RW and MM have blood on there hands.
@Steve27757433: Shambles of a club
@albanheiron: Very poor statement from you. Great servent for the club wish him and his family nothing but the best in the future.
@ChrisGray94: I hope Dan does well at Wycombe. That statement is classless. Focus on yourselves and actually signing a player instead of being bitter to a player who has been loyal to us and has done a good job.
@burmo_lad: Severe lack of class from this once proud club in this statement. Best of luck to @DanUdz9 and thank you for all you did in a Salop shirt. Fans will never forget you!
@ShrewsburyJohn1: Not good enough tbh, no experience up front or rather less so than last season and that went well! 🙄
@luketurner193: Never really been one to get behind the ‘Roland out’ narrative but he’s gotta go we simply cannot compete as a club with him at the helm
@DolphinHuw94808: What a graceless statement in respect of a person that did a lot of good for the club. Class is so easy to lose.
@NickJonesWealth: Why so bitter? @DanUdz9 has been a class act and a hero to many @Shrewsweb fans. You’ll never meet a more genuine, friendly or humble gent. Stay classy #Salop
