England rise in updated FIFA World Rankings

So far we’ve ranked seven teams, check out who has made the top three of the World Rankings below…

3rd) BRAZIL

Brazil have been placed third in the World Rankings, seeing them fall one place.

The Brazilians disappointed reaching as far as the quarter-finals. They got knocked out by Belgium.

 

2nd) BELGIUM

Belgium have been placed second in the World Rankings, climbing just one place.

The Belgians, stunning run in this summer’s tournament saw them finish in the semi-finals, losing out to France.

 

1st) FRANCE

France have been placed first in the World Rankings, leaping up six places.

After beating Croatia to become the new World Cup winners, they take over Germany’s position as the top.

 

The 10 teams just outside the top 10 are Argentina, Chile, Sweden, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, Holland, Poland, Wales and Peru.
