England rise in updated FIFA World Rankings

So far we’ve ranked three teams, check out who has been ranked 7th to 4th in the World Rankings below…

7th) PORTUGAL

Portugal have been placed seventh in the World Rankings, seeing them fall three places.

The Portuguese reached as far as the Round of 16. They got knocked out by Uruguay.

 

6th) ENGLAND

England have been placed sixth in the World Rankings, seeing them climb six places.

The Three Lions got as far as the semi-finals, but lost out to Croatia in extra time.

 

5th) URUGUAY

Uruguay have been placed fifth in the World Rankings, they climb nine places.

The Uruguayans managed to go as far as the Quarter-finals. They lost of to France.

 

4th) CROATIA

Croatia have been placed fourth in the World Rankings and see them climb an incredible sixteen places.

The Croatians’ brilliant finish as runners up in the World Cup final, losing to France, sees them climb the most out of any in the top 10.
