Fans have given their reaction to EFL clubs rejecting Bury’s bid to return to League Two…
Yes, far better to reward the failure of the team who finishes 23rd in League Two rather than the success of the team who finishes 2nd in the @TheVanaramaNL!!! As if the usual 2 down, 2 up isn't bad enough. #efl

Poor Bury fans. Feel sorry for them.

That will trigger administration and a new club. Done over by previous owners and the football league. Discusting @efl. Glad we are out of it now. My guess is it was not discussed due to the way the questions were asked. Real shame but the @efl have ruined football for my family

I do feel sorry for bury but they have made the correct decision. Rules are rules and they were given multiple deadlines.

The end .— Shakerite ??????? (@shakerite66) September 26, 2019
@sjlufc: Shameful stuff.
@CherryAnalysts: When will you be discussing Bolton’s points deduction for not playing the Brentford and Doncaster games?
@Clarkey106: At least it’s over. Glad we are out. This league structure is about to collapse and we won’t be the last club this will happen too due to the piss poor EFL. We’ll be back one day and we won’t look favourably on those who have chosen to kill us.
@ecfcwayne83: Correct decision well done, got what they deserved with their crook owner. Time their fans moved on and stop wasting EFL time.
@JayAEss: I feel for the fans but this is the right decision I think
