Dartford sign Matthew Briggs, an ex-Premier League and EFL defender, having spent the first half of the season in Denmark at HB Koge.
The 29 year old, made his debut after coming off the bench in the National League South side’s 3-0 home win against Chelmsford City.
Dartford are currently 6th in the table, and eye up a playoff place, however with the season suspended, a decision is yet to be made on whether it will continue or not.
Briggs became the Premier League’s youngest player when he made his league debut for Fulham at 16 years and 65 days in May 2007, before losing the record to Harvey Elliott.
As well as playing top flight football, he’s also featured in matches in the Europa League, Championship, League One, League Two and Isthmian League.
He is also a current Guyana international, having played for England’s under 16s up to the under 21s.
