Callum Hudson-Odoi speaks out on rape allegations after he was arrested by police officers in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Reports first emerged on Monday stating that the England and Chelsea player had a 4am row with a model he met online.
Metropolitan Police officers attended reports of an incident at his apartment after being called by the woman in question. An ambulance also attended the scene.
On Monday afternoon, the Daily Mail confirmed why the Premier League player, who contracted coronavirus, was arrested, saying he was accused of rape.

The Metropolitan Police have also released the following statement: Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 3.53am on Sunday, May 17 to a report of an unwell woman.
When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital after feeling unwell.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape.”
He has been released on bail, but looks set to miss the first session back with his fellow teammates.
On Tuesday, the Athletic and the Telegraph have quoted the MailOnline, in reporting that Hudson-Odoi is arguing that he’s innocent.
The Athletic told their readers: When asked about the charges, a representative of Hudson-Odoi, who said he was speaking on the player’s behalf, told MailOnline “He says he’s innocent. That’s all you need to know. He’s innocent, he hasn’t done anything wrong. We’ve got no other comment to make.”
There has been no comment from the Stamford Bridge club or the 19-year-old himself about the front-page story from The Sun.
