The most sung about teams in English football has been revealed and the result will come as no surprise to many supporters.
Website fanchants.co.uk delved into their archive of over 18,000 songs and worked who are the most hated you could say.
Leeds United are the most sung about team in English football with a total of 117 chants on the site, more than double the amount for any other Premier League and EFL club in England.
The chant “We all hate Leeds scum” is a particular favourite on the terraces and is sung by at least 41 different clubs, making it the most widely used chant in the country.
Liverpool are are in second after it’s found a total of 50 chants against the Merseyside club, though that figure does include songs aimed at “scousers”. 12 different chants are from Manchester United fans.
There are 42 anti-Tottenham chants, 25 of which come from their north London rivals Arsenal.
The FanChants site has 39 chants that are anti-Manchester City – 32 of those from Man Utd.
The Red Devils have a total of 34 chants, the most common being “Who the fuck are Man United” which is sung by at least 11 different clubs. United are also the subject of at least 15 chants by Manchester City.
More surprisingly, Sunderland are on the receiving end of more chants than United though with 35 chants against them, 27 of which from Newcastle who are themselves the subject of 33 chants.
