Bury were expelled from the English Football League in August after failing to secure new ownership when a late takeover bid ended up collapsing.
On Friday, the NWCFL confirmed that 11 clubs applied for promotion to Step 6 (which is 9th and 10th tier of English football), and that’s providing they meet the entry ground grade H criteria by March 31.
Nine of those clubs must finish in the top five of their respective Step 7 competitions, however, new clubs Bury AFC and FC Isle of Man have been listed for inclusion to join the league.

Good luck to you. It’s probably the only way there will be a Bury playing next season. I don’t get the negativity, nobody actually wants Bury to disappear but it’s not the picture of health. If non-League’s not your thing then ignore it, or wait around for however long it takes
