A young Aston Villa fan goes viral overnight after giving the middle finger to Daniel Muñoz during Crystal Palace’s Carabao Cup win.
In the dying moments of the match, the Palace full-back struck the ball towards a ball boy, prompting him to immediately say sorry to the boy and the crowd who had grown frustrated by his time-wasting tactics.
This didn’t sit well with one young fan in particular, who stuck up both his middle fingers, which was caught by Sky Sports cameras.
A really beautiful moment in the @AVFCOfficial V @CPFC #CarabaoCup game at Villa Park. We need more of this from the next generation of players and fans. ✌️ pic.twitter.com/hsXqkHPQQk

The game itself saw Eberechi Eze and Daichi Kamada earn Crystal Palace a 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Villa Park.
Unai Emery’s side went behind early on through a header from Eberechi Eze after just 8 minutes, an initial ball across from Adam Wharton had been cleared out towards Daniel Muñoz on the right hand side and the wing-back sent in a delightful ball to pick out Eberechi Eze, steering it into the bottom corner.
Jhon Durán then got his eighth goal of the season on 23 minutes, a long ball out wide from Boubacar Kamara picked out Bailey on the right, who in turn cut it back across for Durán inside the box, finishing on his right foot.
After the break, Villa almost managed to claim the lead within 30 seconds when Durán broke free, got on a loose ball, which allowed him to run in behind and sent a shot away, but flying save from Turner stopped it from going in.
Then with less than 30 minutes remaining, Palace then clinched the winner through substitute Daichi Kamada, with a strike on his right foot, finding the bottom left corner.
Oliver Glasner’s side will now play Arsenal away in the quarter-final, you can see the full draw by clicking HERE.

“We started with 11 players who are in the first team,” Villa boss Unai Emery told Sky Sports. “We started with Tyrone Mings and Diego Carlos, and they can play normally in the starting 11.
“We started with [Ian] Maatsen, [Boubacar] Kamara, McGinn, Duran and [Emiliano] Buendia. I don’t know if I can have any regrets.
“Today, we competed and we lost, but we competed with the idea of players getting performances. Of course, we are frustrated, but if I repeated it again, I would play with the same players.”
“[We] started the game well,” Glasner told Sky Sports. “The problem [with Eze] was his hamstring, and we don’t know how serious it is.
“We concede and then have Adam’s [Wharton] groin issue. [On Tuesday] he said he was fine, but his pain got worse. It’s too early, but I am positive as it’s nothing new. He has had groin problems for many months.
“We thought he needed a break, but yesterday, he gave the thumbs up.”
