Yet another non league club have ground broken into and ground maintenance equipment stolen

After seeing the photos of the damage caused to Potton United’s ground recently, fans took to sympathise with the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side…

@russ_the_ref: Another theft from a grassroots club. Things like this can bring down a club. Keep your eyes open folks.

@LeaSports_1stXI: Someone somewhere knows what happened here, this isnt the first time we’ve seen this and it’s sweeping across the counties. If you get offered any equipment from the thread below please reach out.

@ChrisNunn1972: How can people find it fun to cause damage to football grounds? it happened to @StNeotsTownFC recently and this weekend it happened to @PottonUnited. It’s volunteers left with trying to re-build it again. Please leave our football clubs alone.

@Martin83569429: As a new local resident i am disgusted by this. Could you setup a go fund me page to fund the replacements and as a local dog walker could we not setup regular footfall to keep and eye on this.

@mountford_nick: Disgrace that ?

@lutonunitedfc: This is a real sad story. Seriously effects moving forward

@Ed4word: Disgraceful @savegrassroots

@antmccool7: Scumbags thrive when the risk of retribution is low. They will never have morals & regret so arrest & punishment is only way to reduce & prevent. Will get worse until police get proper resource & act instead of dishing out crime numbers for insurance & pen pushing @bedspolice
