Yet another non league club have ground broken into and ground maintenance equipment stolen

Another non league club have stated on social media this week that their ground has been broken into, adding to the many other sides to be the victims of this crime.

Potton United, from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, wrote on their Twitter that their ground maintenance equipment were also stolen.

They wrote: “Our ground was broken into last night with tractor, mowers and other ground maintenance equipment stolen. If anyone hears anything or is offered any cheap equipment please DM to us.

“Following the earlier tweet, this is how they broke in and drove across the pitch!”

It comes just 22 days after Penn & Tylers Green from near Beaconsfield, took to Twitter to write their frustration along with adding photos of some of what the culprits caused.

They wrote: “Exasperated. Once again we have been ‘visited’ by local youths. They have verbally abused club staff, trashed litter & cycled on the relaid pitches and damaged property including expensive dugouts. Do they really have nothing better to do?”

Kidlington also had trouble recently, they wrote a caption on Twitter, it read: “No words required! ?”

The Southern League Division One Central side from Oxfordshire uploaded footage they received showing one immature lad spray painting a big penis onto the concrete, and another mindless person doing a second drawing of the body part into the stand.

Marlow United stated: “Our newly laid pitches at Gossmore Lane had a visit by some moped riding morons too! Share your pain!”

After seeing the photos of the damage caused to Potton United’s ground recently, fans took to sympathise with the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side – find out on they had to say on the next page.
