A Wolves fan gets ejected after a confrontation with his side’s goalkeeper Jose Sa at half time of the game against Bournemouth.
Liam Keen of the Express and Star tweeted: “Jose Sa has charged over to the South Bank at half-time and looks like he’s furiously pointing his finger and shouting at a fan.
“Stewards are now dragging a fan out of Molineux. Rest of the fans in the South Bank supporting Sa.”
Nathan Judah meanwhile said, with some photos: “Jose Sa has gone into the South Bank arguing with a fan. The fan has now been removed. Fans cheering the removal, seems it was just one idiot .Ugly scenes at HT. 1-3.”

It came at the end of a busy first half, with four goals scored by the 16th minute of the Premier League fixture at Molineux.
Just two minutes in, Bournemouth burst forward and Toti Gomes clumsily dived in and brought Evanilson down in the box. Quick VAR check and it was given. Justin Kluivert send then ball straight down the middle.
It was a simple route-one ball forward that led to the pen and Toti Gomes clumsily dived in. VAR checked for offside, a potential handball against Evanilson and the foul itself, but the decision stood.
Wolves were level on 5 minutes, Jorgen Strand Larsen got ahead of his marker and met Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s cross with a fine header into the bottom corner.
Bournemouth were back in front on 8 minutes, Milos Kerkez with his first ever goal in English football, collecting the ball in the box on the overlap and sent his powerful strike, towards the near post, and takes a slight deflection as it went into the net.
On 15 minutes, Evanilson went down in the area. The ref said no, however VAR called him to the monitor. Wolves who try to play the ball around the back. Evanilson tackled Jose Sa as the keeper attempted to clear it, and ended up catching the forward with his follow-through.
A penalty was given on 18 minutes and Justin Kluivert netted his second penalty of the day, beating Jose Sa with a powerful strike into the corner.
Just as Wolves got one back, when Andre found Guedes, who did well to keep hold of it and released the ball to Larsen, who found the net, Bournemouth were then given their third penalty of the game. Kluivert stepped up and scored, a hat-trick of penalties, rolling the ball in with ease to make it 4-2 Bournemouth with 20 minutes to go.
Justin Kluivert is the first player to score a hat-trick of penalties in an English top-flight game since Ken Barnes did so for Manchester City v Everton in December 1957.
Premier League Match Centre tweeting: “The referee’s call of penalty for a foul by Sa on Evanilson was checked and confirmed by VAR, deeming that the contact was sufficient for a penalty.”
Wolves manager Gary O’Neil to BBC Match of the Day: “Incredibly disappointing, and self-inflicted. Some crazy, crazy errors there. Especially early in the game. It’s disappointing, the lads are equally disappointed.
“We need to turn our attentions quickly to Wednesday with a big test against Everton.
“Bournemouth ask you certain questions and unfortunately we didn’t find enough answers. Their first was from a channel ball which we worked on for ages, ages, and we didn’t deal with it.
“Crazy, crazy penalties to give away. We have to write those off, because you can’t win games if you concede goals like that.
“Any error as big as those at this level is going to be tough to bounce back from. We’ve given ourselves a mountain to climb which we haven’t done in the last four games.
“We were well-prepped and new exactly what would happen. Two back passes, crazy back passes, no need to play back at that point, we could have played forward.
“The [penalty] decisions looked pretty conclusive live.”
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola to Premier League Productions: “This season he [Evanilson] has won five penalties and we have scored four. That says a lot about him. He was the difference maker today.
“It is very difficult to score three penalties in one game. Justin is someone who gives us a lot, also without the ball. He is someone who understands we need his work-rate. He is giving the team a lot.
Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen to BBC Sport: “Not what we expected before the game. We are in good form and I thought we are better than what we showed today, but that’s football. There will be setbacks when you don’t expect them.
“The game is ruined after 18 minutes, and that’s a shame. We believed though and we came back, we had the momentum but in a few minutes it’s dead again. But we have a new match on Wednesday.
“We have to learn a lot. But I’d rather have one game with three or four mistakes, than spreading them out and losing many games.
“The last five or six games have been really, really good. We create chances and score some good goals. We’re a really good team and I believe this will turn around.”
O’Neil to Premier League Productions: “Not good enough. It was well below the level we’ve managed to reach in the last four. We made it really difficult with the errors and the game became a chase.
“The start of the game, the first goal we concede, it’s a big set-back. We gave away two back passes and we didn’t need to play backwards in those moments.
“We expect better than that. We should be able to make simple passes and good decisions with the ball. Today it snowballed on us. We kept on giving chances and making bad decisions.
“We did keep fighting and did come back. But we again found a way to shoot ourselves in the foot with the fourth goal.
“The lads were very well-prepared for what Bournemouth were going to ask. We knew they would be direct and press. But today we didn’t have the answers.
“A lot to look at, but a very quick turnaround. The Premier League you can lose momentum at any point because there are a lot of tough games.
“The players are still together and ready to go.”
Wolves defender Nelson Semedo, who has now picked up five yellow cards and will be suspended for his side’s match with Everton on Wednesday, to Premier League Productions: “We weren’t hungry enough. We lost all our duals and we weren’t good enough.
“They pressed really well but we knew that. We were prepared for that but it didn’t go the way we wanted.
“The way I got the yellow card, I was really mad with the referee. I saw him going like this [points] and I thought it was a goal kick so I was just clapping for his decision. Suddenly he gave me a yellow card and he didn’t even let me try to explain to him.
“I knew I already had a yellow card, that wouldn’t change. But I wanted to say to him ‘no I’m not clapping because you say it’s a penalty, or whatever. No, just because I thought it was a goal kick, that’s why’.
“I’m not that sort of player and I know I’m on four yellow cards so I wouldn’t do that if I was on four yellow cards.”
Here’s how Twitter users reacted when a Wolves fan gets ejected after confrontation with Jose Sa at half time of the game against Bournemouth…
@jofloyd:: It had been going on for ages, fans around him outed the idiots straight away and as soon as the whistle blew Sa was over there. I don’t blame him one bit.
@xGJHP: Jose Sa getting someone booted out at half-time fair enough this is chernobyl wolves
@xGJHP: Depends what the fan has said but if he’s just slating him for being shit after costing us a pen he didn’t deserve that
@jon306: When you’ve got players getting into physical altercations with fans you know there’s a problem. Club is a joke at the moment. #wwfc
@MattKirby1810: The problem is GON is playing a way that doesn’t suit Sa or any of our defenders. He just doesn’t/can’t learn. Has to be sacked. More interested in looking pretty going forward to get himself a bigger job.
@MattKirby1810: If GON played a way that suited Sa and our defenders he wouldn’t be making these errors. He’s a decent keeper, just can’t play the way GON is making him, but neither can most of the defenders. Has to be sacked.
@wwfc_bren: What a mess
@craigwolves: Toxic Molineux is back. It’s been a while 😅
@CallumD_4: Toxic Wolves welcome back
@iamrockymstar: Can’t even blame him, I feel sorry for him
@GoldenGoal79085: What is going on with our club?
@Mike13635531902: Whilst there is every chance the fans are a disgrace it’s not a good look for the club is it. A club falling apart and going down potentially or just a sign of unrest. Who knows. What we do know is we conceded 3 in 20 minutes at home. At yet we change nothing. 4-3 Wolves
