Which English football club has won the most trophies?

Which English football club has won the most trophies now that Liverpool have won the Premier League? We take a look in this article.

Jurgen Klopp’s magnificent side won a top flight title for the first time since 1990 after Manchester City failed to beat Chelsea in what was a very entertaining encounter on Thursday night.

Liverpool’s recent success means a big change in terms the all-time trophies won standings.

Below you can see Which English football club has won the most trophies? The ranks includes those to have won at least one league title.

Major honours counted as season-long competitions (Charity/Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup not included), and no one-off competitions tallied towards total.

European trophies include: European Cup/Champions League, Cup Winners’ Cup, UEFA Cup/Europa League and Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Only top flight league titles are counted as major honours.

=18th) Leicester

Leicester City have won 4 trophies – they include, as listed by talkSPORT,  League x1, League Cup x3

It was in the 2015/16 season that the Foxes won the Premier League in superb style.

Portsmouth’s last major triumph saw them lift the FA Cup in 2008 against Cardiff in front of a record crowd which still stands today.
