Wayne Rooney hilariously calls YouTuber Angry Ginge a ‘ginger c***’ while live on a FIFA Pro Clubs stream over the weekend.

The Manchester United legend was scheduled to make an appearance as an analyst on Match of the Day on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately, he had to withdraw from his first appearance due to a back injury, so instead, Rooney participated in an Angry Ginge live stream during the weekend.

He teamed up with a group of gamers with the guidance of the streamer and host Yung Filly for a Pro Clubs game on EA Sports FC (formerly known as FIFA).

At the end of Rooney’s guest appearance, he said: “If yous want me back then I’ll be back.”

Angry Ginge cheekily responded: “Wayne, we would have you back tomorrow. Just don’t be s*** again.”

Rooney then hit back: “Ah, you ginger c***.”

Since his sacking at Birmingham, he has done a number of interviews, spoke of his time at the club and felt unfairly treated.

He has also featured as a pundit, covering Man Utd games for the BBC and TNT Sports.

But he had to pull out Match of the Day this weekend, tweeting: “Gutted not to be making my debut on the iconic @BBCMOTD show tonight, it’s something I have wanted to do since I was little.

“Unfortunately I have sustained a painful back injury during a holiday with my family but I look forward to being part of the team in the near future.

“Good luck to @GaryLineker and the guys for tonight’s show and see you soon.”

Rooney won just two of his 15 matches in charge of Birmingham, but remains committed to coaching following previous spells at Derby County and DC United.

He recently said he’d be willing to drop down as low as League Two for his next job.

“I would, 100 per cent [take a job in League One],” he said on the Stick to Football podcast recently. “I want to get back into managing and I want to prove myself – whether that’s League Two, League One or Championship. It’s all experience – I’m only 38, I’ve had three managerial jobs. I’ve got quite a bit of experience, like with Derby in administration, and going out to the States.

“I’ve got a bit of experience to lean on now, I’m still young in terms of a manager. I want to focus on getting back into management. The main thing for me is to completely cut out what I’ve done as a player and almost start again as a manager.

“Of course, my playing experience will help me, but I’m right at the bottom from a managerial point of view, and I want to work my way up. I’m not relying on what I’ve done as a player to get me into places that I shouldn’t be.”
