Ollie Watkins, Jeremie Frimpong and Aston Villa fans make digs at Arsenal as Mikel Arteta snaps at a question put to him by a journalist.
Aston Villa stunned Arsenal with 2-0 win at the Emirates as Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins netted late to strengthen the Villans’ top-four hopes.
Arsenal, second in Premier League, sit two points behind champions the Man City with six games to play while Liverpool are also on points with Arsenal after Klopp’s side were defeated at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

‘Hang it in the Louvre’ were the words from viewers watching on after they spotted Ollie Watkins’ antics when celebrating his goal against the Gunners.
The striker put Arsenal fans to misery with Watkins mimicking Thierry Henry’s trademark celebration by holding the corner flag.
Watkins also took to Instagram where he hit back at Troy Deeney after the ex-Birmingham striker claimed he was a ‘winger trying to be a striker’.
‘With Ollie, this is going to sound negative but I promise you it is not, he is a winger trying to be a striker,’ Deeney said to talkSPORT.
‘That’s just who he is. He is very good at being a striker, but when Ivan stepped up and took that penalty [versus Belgium] did you think he was going to miss? I didn’t.
‘Whenever Ollie runs through one-vs-one during many games this season, I’m still not convinced he is going to score.
‘I think he will score eventually if you give him three or four shots a game. Ivan just has that borderline arrogance about him that makes me go: ‘Right, stick Ivan in there.”
But it appears Watkins woke up and chose violence, not only did he did the corner flag celebration, but he also bit back at Deeney, who posted a picture of himself shushing the crowd on his Instagram story after scoring his goal with the caption Instagram: ‘Not bad for a winger trying to be a striker.’

Former Man City player Jeremie Frimpong took aim at Arsenal alongside former Gunner player Granit Xhaka during Bayer Leverkusen’s title celebrations.
Bayern Munich’s 11-year dominance as German champions came to an end as Xabi Alonso’s team emerged victorious, clinching the trophy with a resounding 5-0 triumph over Werder Bremen on Sunday night.
Following his departure from Arsenal after a seven-year stint in north London, Xhaka alleviated any tension by unleashing a remarkable long-range strike, propelling his team to a 2-0 lead in the 60th minute.
The celebrations reached their peak when Florian Wirtz netted an impressive hat-trick within a span of 22 minutes.
The jubilation spilled into the Bayer dressing room, where Alonso found himself drenched in beer by his elated players and amidst the chaos, Frimpong captured the moment on Instagram Live, with Xhaka being the centre of attention.
The Switzerland international came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League in his final season with Arenal last season, going one better this term in Germany.
With his arm around Xhaka, Frimpong said: ‘Granit, you came from Arsenal and you won it here! My f*****g G!’
Xhaka said: ‘It’s difficult to find the right words [to sum up his emotions]. To come back after my first season in the league is unbelievable.
‘We had a great season, a great game, not first half but second half we did well, and now we enjoy.
‘When you kick a ball at a young age, you dream of moments like this. It was hard work day by day, with everyone who was included in this club.
‘In my 14 years football career, it’s special for me, but even more special for this club. Now we want more, and to take the others one as well.’

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was left particularly frustrated with one question after of Sunday’s home defeat by Aston Villa.
He was pressed for a comment on why Trossard started instead of Martinelli and if the Brazilian was fit enough to feature for the full 90 minutes.
“Because I’m the manager and I decide the line up,” he replied with Arteta clearly frustrated on the scrutiny surrounding his starting 11, but urged on his side to “stand up” and be counted for the remainder of the campaign.
Questioned how he plans to manage emotions after such a damaging defeat, Arteta told reporters: “If one result is going to do that then we are not strong enough, that’s very simple.
“We had one of the best performances in the first half that we had this season by far against a really good team, it should have been three or four or more. It didn’t happen in the second half, momentum shifted, we could not control and generate what we did in the first half.
“We struggled, we conceded two very poor goals and we lost the game so congratulations to the opponent and now is the moment to stand up as a leader, as a character to make yourself count because when you win and win and win and win for four months, it’s very simple to do it. The moment is now.”
Reporter: Why did you put Trossard in the starting line up instead of Martinelli? 👀
Arteta: Because I’m the manager and I decide the line up 😡

@sturae229: How the fuck have we beaten Arsenal away from home without Kamara and Dougie hahaha. What a coach we have. Wild. #UTV #AVFC #ARSAVL
@OP4C: They didn’t back him in the transfer market. They humiliated him. They didn’t give him time. They fired him. But now, 6 years later, Unai Emery finally has his revenge. 6 points taken from Arsenal, and their title dreams in tatters! #AVFC #AFC
@priceman71:

@Daniel09954805: They had 2 days extra rest too
@SavageResponses: Arteta is responsible for this one. What awas zinchenko doing on the pitch and why subtitle odegard? Trossard should be coming from bench always because he gets tired easily

@Holte121971: An absolutely masterclass from Villa. Nobody gave is a prayer today. That was one hell of a performance from 1 to 11.
@TalkingTHFC: Tell you what boys, have fourth. You’ve earned it.
@NoelM1986: Sensational, after Thursday night, the injuries, Luiz suspension, didn’t give Villa much hope for today but they were amazing, Carlos was immense, Konsa, Digne, McGinn, Youri all brilliant. I wouldn’t trade Emi for any other keeper in the world! Emery masterclass #AVFC #ARSAVL
@bradjrr: We have crumbled once again when it matters. We have bottled the league again!!! We deserve the title ” Bottle Jobs” Cheers!
@andrewm923: We’ve always been far too skinny and once our clever ideas get worked out towards the end of the season, we have nothing left to give physically… it always leaves me very paralysed as an Arsenal fan to see how physically weak we are, I wince at the sight of some of our players
@MWetterstein: Second year in a row we are at the very front, but can’t in the end💔😢 This really hurts. Feel like we’ve thrown it away now. Of course, we don’t have that yet and it can be achieved, but it will be very difficult, almost impossible with the form City are in. Why do you get upset about it? The answer is the love for Arsenal 🔴⚪️🔥COYG
@OlaseniFeyisayo:
Play good football ⚽️ , Have high hopes to the season, and end up winning nothing
Biggest achievement : top 4
Story of Arsenal football Club.
@joeavfc1: Emery ending arsenal’s title hopes, and villa do the double over arsenal without them scoring a goal over 180+ minutes🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣#AVFC #AFC
