We all know about swapping shirts with the opposition after a game – some are slammed if it’s with one another’s rivals – but Sammy Lee had a much more unique request for the Argentine boss.
The West Brom assistant manager had just watched his already-relegated side slip to a 3-1 final day defeat at Elland Road.
The Baggies went into the game knowing that they would not be playing Premier League football next term.
Lee and his long-time boss Sam Allardyce announced in midweek that they will leave the Hawthorns after failing to keep them up in the Premier League.
However, despite their short stint proving to be an unsuccessful one and ending with another loss, it seemed the 62-year-old wanted to take advantage of the occasion by coming away with a special item to remember it by.
Following the full time whistle, Lee headed over to the Leeds dug-out to shake hands and show respect to Bielsa.
The Leeds manager was then left looking completely surprised as Lee asked to swap jackets.
A smile then appeared on Bielsa’s face as he suddenly got what Lee was asking for.
He unzipped his jacket and quickly checked his pockets so he didn’t accidentally leave anything behind.
He then seemed to suggest that he would swap jackets with the Baggies coach down in the tunnel.

Leeds ended their first season back in the top tier of English football with a fourth-straight win in front of returning fans.
It was the first time that their supporters have watched the side in the top-flight for 17 years, and the 8,000 who came in through the turnstiles made a great atmosphere as Bielsa’s team produced a fantastic finale.
Rodrigo, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford fired them to victory and sealed a ninth-placed finish.
Hal-Robson Kanu grabbed a late consolation for West Brom, who must now face a big summer of changes as they prepare for a return to the Championship.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa: “It has been a very satisfying, but very difficult season and I feel like we could have had a few more points.
“I thought it was an unforgettable game, but it was also a great homage to two players that stop belonging to Leeds. The responses that they got are only given to players who give their all and deserve it.
“Pablo’s performance today indicated that he deserved more minutes this season than the ones I gave him this year and Berardi after such a long time without playing, showed he could still be current.”
West Brom boss Sam Allardyce: “I think they have got the basis of a Championship squad that can challenge.
“It needs some additions, obviously. But I think there is the basis of a very talented Championship squad.
“I think the experience they have had this year will make them even better when they go back down to the Championship.
“I think it’s a level they are going to be very good at.
“They have a great opportunity to show how good they are in the Championship. They will need to strengthen the squad but that’s for somebody else.”
