VIDEO: Rotherham fans fight each other after Doncaster score 88th minute winner

Rotherham United fans have been captured on video fighting with each other after their side conceded late on to give Doncaster Rovers all three points.

The incident came as the game kicked off again after Donny’s Ben Whiteman scored a penalty to complete a comeback.

Fans can be seen punching, pushing and kicking whilst others around them look on as the whistle blows to play out the remaining minutes.

Several women try to calm the situation down before security and stewards gather at the bottom of the stand ready to go in and sort it. Check out the video below…

The game itself saw Rotherham’s Jake Hastie open the scoring on the 37th minute, seeing his free kick go all the way across the box and in at the far post. Certainly didn’t mean for that one to happen.

20 minutes into the second half and veteran James Coppinger got on the scoresheet when he timed his run to perfection to finish a cross from the right.

Then as injury time was approaching, Niall Ennis was fouled and Whiteman stepped up and sent Millers keeper Lewis Price the wrong way.

Doncaster boss Darren Moore spoke after the game on his side’s win, as you can see in the video below…

Though the media were left waiting for over an hour to hear back from Rotherham manager Paul Warne, who eventually came out and ruled out there being a “rant and rave but lengthy two-way discussion with players and coaching staff. PW says players need to learn from 2nd half, stop throwing away leads.”

After watching back the footage of the Rotherham fans fighting with each other after conceding Doncaster’s late winner, social media users took to mock them – see those tweets on the next page.
