A Tottenham Hotspur fan has left viewers in hysterics as he spoke to Sky Sports following his side’s cracking win over Ajax.
Spurs are heading to Madrid and will face Liverpool in the Champions League on the 1st of July, and this supporter was ecstatic as can be seen in the video below.
Lucas Moura scored a second-half hat-trick to secure a 3-2 win in Amsterdam and send Tottenham through on away goals.
The following day, Sky Sports spoke to one fan and the clip starts with him talking through the game.
He said: “I mean we are just in dreamland here us Spurs fans!
“We were 2-0 down, by the end of the first half, we’re dead and buried, I’ve got geezers crying their eyes out, thinking ‘that’s it, it’s over’, they score again and we’re leaving and we’re going to go absolutely out of our brains.
“But heres the thing, second half, whistle blows and we’ve gone up three gears, not only that, we’ve even scored three goals!
“Pochettino, I’ve got to say, Pochettino [bows], you are the man I’ve got to say, but here;s the thing Poch, you’ve had no money to spend for two years, I’m mean it’s just incredible.
“You know you’ve got these kids here who have put their kit on at half time, when we’ve said to them, come on, get changed fellas because I think you’ll be coming on, because we got so many first team players.
“Poch you are the man.”
He is asked how will he get a ticket, to which he hilariously replies: “Well I’ve already said to my missus, doll, I’m sorry to tell you, but that bank account is going to be used big time.
“So when you see a few grand coming out of it, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us boys, 60 years old I am this year, I’ve never seen my team in a Champions League Final, so I am there whatever, even if I have got to rob a bank.”
