A group of Fleetwood Town fans have been condemned for carrying out an attack on ‘innocent’ Ipswich Town supporters and club coaches.
Eyewitnesses claim that Cod Army yobs were spotted throwing stones at the Ipswich club coaches and attacking supporters as they made their way out of the exits.
It’s understood that at least one male and an elderly woman had been left hurt while more tweets emerge explaining what took place outside Highbury Stadium with accusations that the Fleetwood owner’s son was involved.
Disgusting scenes after the match today.
This Fleetwood mob are absolute thugs. Just thugs using football as an excuse to be violent

The game itself saw Sam Morsy and Kayden Jackson hit second-half goals as Ipswich won their League One encounter 2-0 at Fleetwood.
Morsy scored on the 71st minute from a Wes Burns’ pass, and Jackson was on hand to seal the win 10 minutes later with a comfortable finish.
The victory extended their unbeaten run to seven matches while the hosts’ search for a win stretched to nine games.
Ipswich dominated when it came to possession in the first half however failed to make the most of their chances.
Joe Pigott was close on the verge of half time, his shot hitting the outside of the post.
Pigott also had an opportunity to score before the half hour mark, lobbing Alex Cairns after the keeper’s weak header but narrowly clearing the crossbar.
Fleetwood had offered little in terms of attack, but centre-back Tom Clarke almost broke the deadlock shortly after the restart with a low volley whichย was pushed around the post by Christian Walton.
With 20 minutes remaining, former Cod Army player Burns found space in the box and squared the ball for Morsy to tap home the opener.
And 10 minutes from time Jackson sprang the offside trap to roll in Ipswich’s second.
