A video emerges of an incident between fans and a club chairman at the non league match Wingate v Dulwich on Tuesday night.
The Isthmian League – Premier Division fixture played out to a 1-0 victory for Dulwich Hamlet, with Gaspar Mico a beautiful goal in the 22nd minute.
But there was troubling scenes in the stands with more details, allegations and claims surfacing on social media following the game.

@seaoftheedge alleges that the chairman repeatedly called the away fans “two-bob c*nts” and threatened to assault multiple people because an unsafe wall collapsed, showing absolutely zero concern for people who could have been hurt. Dangerous ground, unhinged people.
This is Wingate & Finchley’s chairman (Aron Sharpe) absolutely disgraceful pic.twitter.com/8IITKwPdx7

You’re leaving out the bit where your chairman repeatedly called the away fans “two-bob c*nts” and threatened to assault multiple people because an unsafe wall collapsed, showing absolutely zero concern for people who could have been hurt. Dangerous ground, unhinged people.

Game nine (12.08)@WinFinchleyFC 0-1 @DulwichHamletFC
We still desperately need to learn how to score goals or we’re going to sleepwalk into a relegation battle.
Dulwich hamlet are a good side, but bloody hell are they insufferable. Broke our wall to boot! pic.twitter.com/2B2krvFZL5

Twitter users gave their reaction while a video emerges of an incident between fans and a club chairman at the non league match Wingate v Dulwich…
@jamesnbrock: I’m no builder but that wall looks unfit for purpose, to then react in that way when his club is at fault is unacceptable! I listened on the radio and you could hear our fans singing all night long. Our away fans are always a credit to the club
@tom_churchmouse: I mean, some children leant on a wall which then keeled over in one piece (suggesting a… questionable structural integrity to begin with). Your chairman then stormed around threatening to knock people out ‘after the game’, and then shoved a woman.
@HxzaFlyin: Wingate and Finchley has deleted my comment on instagram mentioning the incident of the owner attempting to assault somebody. Absolutely disrespectful awful Chairman lost much respect for this club
@patperrett8: Hey @aronsharpe. When you wake up tomorrow who will you apologise to first? The @WinFinchleyFC fans for disgracing their club, your employees who had to bail you out multiple times or the Dulwich woman you thought it ok to push and verbally assault?
@hfc_felix: Well said, absolute pigsty of a ground and totally unfit for football. Some good people at Wingate though so don’t brandish all of them as that.
@wsavage_dcfc: Mostly good people at Wingate. Ground needs a lot of TLC though I’ll give you that.
@hfc_felix: Oh definitely, I’ve never met a bad person there, just don’t like you lot as a club 🤣🤣
@seaoftheedge: In fairness, the rest of the people who came to sort out the wall seemed very decent, and tried to calm the situation down, including physically restraining the chairman and trying to get him away.

@KsOllieU: Not the first time he’s lost it 🤐🤐🤐
@jamesnbrock: What was his issue?
@mattcarlin12: Thought I’d seen that before 🤣👀
@TagzHigh: No chairman should ever do that mate, ever 😂
@hfc_felix: Chairman doing that is wrongen behaviour to be honest pal 🤣🤣
@cfcbenyu: Jesus what on earth happened at the game last night? Hope the club are lodging something over this
