– Aston Villa are one of three top-12 Premier League clubs plotting a summer move for New Zealand striker Chris Wood, and Burnley will demand at least £30m for the 29-year-old. (Football Insider)

– Wolves are set to join Aston Villa and West Ham and target a move for Tammy Abraham in the summer transfer window, according to a report from the Daily Mail. Chelsea are prepared to sell Abraham in this window. He fell out of favour following Thomas Tuchel’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.

– West Ham have emerged as the new favourites to sign Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, ahead of Newcastle United. The £35m man looks set to leave Anfield in search of regular first team football, after battling back from an injury setback. (Sky Bet)

– Following Carlo Ancelotti’s exit from Everton to join Real Madrid, Los Blancos are now favourites to sign Toffees talisman Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The England international netted 21 goals for his side last season. (SkyBet)

– Leeds United have been set a hefty £35m asking price for Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul, and could have to contend with the added pressure of competition from Atletico Madrid to sign the player. He was heavily linked with Leeds last summer too. (Goal)

– West Ham and New York City have made offers for France striker Olivier Giroud, 34, who is set to leave Chelsea on a free transfer. (Calciomercato)

– Leicester City have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, who could be sold for less than his £30m asking price. He’s been capped on 13 occasions for Germany. (BILD)

– Leeds United are in talks with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent as they aim to sign the winger from Rubin Kazan, according to POSTV journalist Lasha Kokiashvili.

– Norwich City have emerged as potential candidates to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong. Southampton, Newcastle and West Ham also keen. He scored 28 goals last season.

– West Ham are looking to snap up Sampdoria midfielder Morten Thorsby this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

– West Ham are believed to have begun talks with Barcelona over the potential signing of full-back Junior Firpo.

– According to Wales Online, Swansea look set to be Newcastle United to the signing of Wigan Athletic star Kyle Joseph. They report that the highly-rated striker is now in ‘advanced talks’ with the Swans and set to sign at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer this summer.

– West Ham and Southampton are competing to sign Barcelona’s former Spain Under-21 defender Junior Firpo, 24. (Sport – via The Boot Room)

– Crystal Palace are still keen to sign Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher, according to the Daily Mail. The Eagles don’t currently have a manager but the recruitment team are busy preparing plans for new recruits.

– Aston Villa are reportedly keeping a close eye on Emile Smith Rowe’s contract situation at Arsenal. The 20-year-old enjoyed a busy 2020-21 campaign for the Gunners, making 33 appearances in all competitions, contributing four goals and seven assists in the process. abrizio Romano claimed last month that the Englishman was in advanced talks with Mikel Arteta’s side over a new five-year contract though there has been no further announcement.

– The Portuguese media have linked Newcastle United with a move for Sporting midfielder Matheus Nunes. Reports last month claimed that the Magpies tried to sign the 22-year-old midfielder on loan in January, but the Portuguese champions rejected that offer. They would go on to win the league title but are resigned themselves to losing Nunes with Sporting have picking Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte as a replacement.

– Aston Villa are targeting midfielders with Arsenal’s 20-year-old England Under-21 international Emile Smith Rowe and Norwich’s Argentine Emi Buendia, 24, under consideration. (Star)

– West Ham are in advanced talks to sign Czech Republic defensive midfielder Alex Kral, 23, from Spartak Moscow for more than £20m. (Football Insider)
