Tottenham aim to take advantage of Wigan’s dire financial situation by snapping up England youth internationals in 18-year-olds Joe Gelhardt and Jensen Weir.

Leeds will reportedly target Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard if they win promotion to the Premier League this season. He’s netted 22 goals in 27 appearances in Celtic’s ninth successive title win.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to comment on reports that Manchester United have missed out on the signing of Birmingham‘s Jude Bellingham.

Sheffield United have made a £3.5m bid for Reading midfielder John Swift, but Leeds are also interested. Swift has two years to run on his contract with the Royals, who may be forced to let him go due to their financial situation. (Daily Mail)

Sheffield Wednesday would like to re-sign Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy for next season, as per a report by the Sheffield Star. The manager also wanted other loanees Connor Wickham, Josh Windass and Alessio Da Cruz to return to Hillsborough.

Plymouth Argyle are in ‘discussions’ over bringing Blackpool’s Ryan Hardie back to the club, according to Plymouth Live, sfter scoring seven goals in all competition on loan this season. The Pilgrims also want loan pair Tyreeq Bakinson and George Cooper from Bristol City and Peterborough United.

– Former Derby keeper Lewis Price is in contract talks with newly-promoted Rotherham United. He is in negotiations about a possible extension to his stay at the Millers after helping them to finish runners up in League One.

Swindon Town are set to launch a move for Rotherham United striker Jerry Yates, according to a report by Sunderland Echo. The 23 year old endured an impressive 14-goal loan spell for the Robins. Sunderland and Blackpool also interested.

Swansea‘s Conor Gallagher is wanted by Crystal Palace this summer after scoring six goals and successfully produced four assists in 26 Championship appearances for Charlton in the first half of the current campaign before joining the Steve Cooper’s side in January where he made six assists in 13 games.

Cardiff boss Neil Harris says he wants to continue working with Danny Ward beyond this season when the striker’s contract expires. Contract talks with any player at the club will wait until the end of the current campaign.

– Speaking to the Northampton Chronicle, Northampton Town chairman Kelvin Thomas has said that he expects Championship interest in defender Charlie Goode, who in total, has played in 62 games for the Cobblers, scoring four goals and playing on two assists.

Newcastle manager Steve Bruce says he is hoping to convince midfielder Matty Longstaff to stay at the club. Celtic want him and the player’s loan club Swansea will no doubt want to keep him.

Motherwell have launched a bid to sign frontman Callum Lang on a permanent basis from Wigan Athletic. Manager Stephen Robinson revealed last month he was trying to sign him on loan from the Latics. Now they’ve got the cash to make an offer.

Northampton boss Keith Curle has admitted that his side will be having “discussions” over re-signing West Brom striker Callum Morton next season weeks after the 20-year-old enjoyed netting eight goals in 12 appearance – including a strike in the League Two playoff final at Wembley.

Derby County and Birmingham have been linked with a move for 29 year old former Northampton goalkeeper David Cornell, who has made over 100 appearances for the Cobblers and been first-choice stopper for much of the season.

– 35 year old Wigan Athletic goalkeeper David Marshall has been offered a deal by an unnamed Championship side, according to the Herald.

– Football Insider has claimed that Forest Green Rovers are close to signing young left-back Jack Evans after his release from Blackburn Rovers.
