– Everton, Wolves, Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs interested in signing James Rodriguez, with the Real Madrid playmaker’s career hitting a downward curve in recent years. The La Liga giants are slashing his asking price to around £22.5million (€25m).
– Sheffield United have made a £3.5m bid for Reading midfielder John Swift, but Leeds are also interested. Swift has two years to run on his contract with the Royals, who may be forced to let him go due to their financial situation. (Daily Mail)
– Newcastle United and Arsenal are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing Wolfsburg‘s Dutch striker Wout Weghorst, 27, for 35m euros (£31.9m). (Bild – in German)
– Steve Bruce’s side are also considering signing French forward Thomas Robert – the 19-year-old son of former Magpies winger Laurent Robert – from Montpellier on a free transfer. (Mail)
– Everton are ready to challenge Tottenham for the signing of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Southampton want £35m from the sale of the midfielder, who is entering the last year of his contract.
– West Ham have joined Everton, Manchester United and Southampton in showing an interest in Real Valladolid and Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu, 21. (Mail on Sunday)
– Leicester will try to sign centre-back Jannik Vestergaard from Southampton this summer, having missed out on him in January. (Goal)

– Newcastle manager Steve Bruce says he is hoping to convince midfielder Matty Longstaff to stay at the club. Celtic want him and the player’s loan club Swansea will no doubt want to keep him.
– Sheffield Wednesday would like to re-sign Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy for next season, as per a report by the Sheffield Star. The manager also wanted other loanees Connor Wickham, Josh Windass and Alessio Da Cruz to return to Hillsborough.
– Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti says there is “no way” left-back Lucas Digne will be allowed to leave the club this summer amid claims of interest from Premier League rivals.
– Lazio are interested in signing Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, who is currently on loan at Newcastle. (Corriere dello Sport)

– Norwich centre-back Ben Godfrey is a summer target for Bundesliga duo Dortmund and RB Leipzig. The England U21 player is valued at £25m, and has also attracted interested from Tottenham.
– Arsenal are reportedly ready to seal a deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey but must sell a player first.
– Man City could sign Lionel Messi, 33, when his Barcelona contract expires next summer if manager Pep Guardiola leaves the club. (Talksport)
Manchester City are keen to sign Bournemouth and Netherlands defender Nathan Ake. However they may face competition from Chelsea, who are interested in re-signing the 25-year-old. (Athletic – subscription required)

– Coventry City are battling it out with rivals Birmingham in their pursuit of Wolves striker Renat Dadashov this summer, claim reports in Azerbaijan. Pep Clotet’s side tried to sign the 21 year old in January after talks to sign Bright Enobakhare collapsed on deadline day.

– Jadon Sancho has agreed a £140,000-a-week deal with Manchester United as he edges closer to a move from Borussia Dortmund. The Red Devils don’t want to pay Dortmund’s £120m valuation, but are trying to structure a deal that would satisfy all parties.
– Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United watched 22 year old Leon Bailey on Saturday, with the Bayer Leverkusen and Jamaica winger keen on a move to England. (Sky Sports)
– Tottenham and Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier, 27, is interesting Ligue 1 side Monaco, who hope to sign the player this summer. (Sky Sports)
– Inter Milan have entered into negotiations with Chelsea over a possible transfer for Emerson Palmieri. The Italian side are prepared to pay £18m for the full-back, but the Blues are likely to hold out for more.
– Juventus are interesting in signing Roma forward Eden Džeko. Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik and Wolves‘ Raúl Jiménez are also being considered, but Maurizio Sarri prefers the capital-based forward. (Source: Tuttosport)
– Swansea‘s Conor Gallagher is wanted by Crystal Palace this summer after scoring six goals and successfully produced four assists in 26 Championship appearances for Charlton in the first half of the current campaign before joining the Steve Cooper’s side in January where he made six assists in 13 games.
