• Club Brugge are still the only club to agree on a fee with Queens Park Rangers for Burnley and West Brom linked winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.
• Leeds United have joined Atalanta, AC Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio and Napoli chasing the signature of Stuttgart striker Nicolas Gonzalez. He score 14 goals in 27 appearances this season.
• Manchester City are eyeing up a shock move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos if Arsenal decide not to extend his loan deal. (Sunday Express)
• Leicester midfielder James Maddison will reject interest from Manchester United to sign a new long-term contract worth £95,000 a week. (talkSPORT)
• By the club’s own admission, Watford winger Ismaila Sarr is Liverpool’s transfer target. The report claims that Liverpool manager has extensively scouted Ismaila Sarr and is considering a move for the winger. Jurgen Klopp is a long term admirer of Sarr and believes he can get the most out of the Senegal international.
• Dean Henderson is reportedly in demand after another stellar season at Sheffield United but Chris Wilder was asked again about his prospects of bringing the Manchester United goalkeeper back for a third season. He’s keen – but pragmatic.
• Steve Bruce is still hoping to finally bring some clarity to Matty Longstaff’s contract situation at Newcastle, with the player linked with West Ham and Southampton.. “I’m hoping he stays one way or the other, whether there is a takeover or not. I don’t think the takeover is going to influence that. Matty hurt his thigh yesterday and he’s had problems with that since we’ve come back from lockdown so I was never going to risk him. But I’m hoping he’ll still be a Newcastle when I come back in a few weeks time.”
• On the futures of loan players like Rose, Bentaleb and Lazaro, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce added: “We’ll have to have conversations with their respective clubs and look to see if we’re going to make any of them permanent or the alternative is can we have them for another year on loan? But let’s see what the situation happens and see how that develops.”
• Newcastle are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Demarai Gray’s situation at Leicester City.
• Dean Smith joked that Jack Grealish’s immediate plans are to get drunk, rather than discuss his future, as Aston Villa secured their Premier League status.
• Roy Hodgson has called for investment into a Crystal Palace squad who finished the campaign in 14th. “We need some investment in players, in particular, forward players because we’ve been really short in that area all the way through my time here. Investment is needed and players, younger players perhaps, rejuvenation, fresh faces coming into help us out in those front areas because our problem is we don’t score goals. That’s the priority and it’s been the priority for a long time. Let’s hope the club finds an answer to those problems and we can start next season with a lot more threat.”

• Tottenham and Everton have been in talks with Southampton over a deal to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but the Saints boss has warned any suitors they will have to meet the club’s valuation – one understood to be set at £25m.

• Chelsea are ready to put in an offer for Getafe full-back Marc Cucurella during the summer transfer window.
• Juventus are amongst the clubs who are ready to move in for Chris Smalling if Roma continue to fail to find an agreement with Manchester United this summer.
• West Ham United want to sign QPR’s Eberechi Eze or Brentford’s Said Benrahma over the next two months and they have a plan in place to get them.
• Leeds United could help out former Whites coach Carlos Corberan by sending Robbie Gotts to join Huddersfield Town on loan this summer.
