Transfer Talk: Obafemi, Foster, King, Watkins, Ramsdale, Hendrick, Duffy, Murphy, Benrahma, Ntcham, Jackson

Take a look at the transfer talk for the Premier League…

Bournemouth have reluctantly accepted an £18.5m offer from Sheffield United for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. However, while the transfer fee has been agreed between the two clubs, it’s understood that Ramsdale’s personal terms with United are still to be negotiated.

According to a report by Le10sport, Wolverhampton Wanderers have tabled an offer for Leicester City and Manchester City target Rayan Ait-Nouri. Angers netted a club record £22 million from the sale of Jeff Reine-Adelaide last year. But it’s highly likely that Ait-Nouri will break that figure this time around.

• Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City after a breakthrough in talks.

• Newcastle United expect to finalise the signing of midfielder Jeff Hendrick on a free transfer after he underwent medical tests on Saturday. Chris Smalling doesn’t want to join the Magpies.

• Bournemouth’s Joshua King has emerged as a target for Portuguese giants Benfica, however the newly relegated side don’t want to lose him. PSG, Lazio, Roma, Newcastle, Everton, Brighton, Burnley, Man Utd, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Leeds, Tottenham, Chelsea and other unnamed sides are also keen on signing him.

• Watford left-back Pervis Estupinan is wanted by Tottenham and Barcelona and rated at £15m – even though he has never kicked a ball for the Hornets.

• Aston Villa and West Brom will do battle to sign Michael Obafemi from Southampton for £10m.

•  Burnley. Also trying for Joe Worrall at Forest. Would swap Ben Gibson if it worked. Worrall would want to know first team prospects. Sheff U also still keen on him for squad too.

• Fulham are ready to offer Wigan’s Antonee Robinson a stunning contract to win the race for his signature.

• Chelsea are closing in on a £40m swoop for Brighton defender Lewis Dunk, with Tottenham also interested in the Seagulls skipper.

According to Globoesporte, Marcelo Bielsa has asked Leeds to bring in Basel striker Arthur Cabral this summer. The Whites grant El Loco’s demands and have lodged a £16.3million offer for the Brazilian. Basel want to stretch the offer to at least £18.1m, with complications surrounding any deal for the 22-year-old. The Swiss club only owns 70% of the striker, with his former clubs Palmeiras and Ceara holding 15% of the player each.

• Steven Gerrard insists it would take an exceptional offer for Rangers to consider removing the ‘not for sale’ sign from Borna Barisic. Roma, Napoli and Leeds want him.

Taylor was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2018 but recovered last year before earning his first call-up to the Red Devils’ senior side against Astana.
