• Chelsea have agreed a £50m deal with Leicester City for Ben Chilwell. They have no long-term concerns with the heel injury & the move should be completed within the next 3 days, with the player expected to sign a 5-year deal.
• Nottingham Forest will sell Joe Worrall if the price is right, but Burnley and Sheffield United have been scared off by the Championship club’s £10 million demand.
• Leeds United are one of the clubs interested in Lanús winger Pedro De La Vega, according to the Argentine press.
• Roma striker Patrik Schick is thought to be Newcastle United’s top target this summer at £22m. (Daily Mail)
• Brighton & Hove Albion are in talks with goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. Trabzonspor want at least £18m. (Fanatik via Turkish-Football)
• Newcastle have launched a last-ditch bid to attempt to hijack Wolves’ move for Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to reports. Tottenham also keen.
• Newcastle United have a fight on their hands to hang on to midfielder Isaac Hayden with Crystal Palace, Brighton and West Ham watching on.
• Sheffield United are making a move to sign 21 year old Barnsley defender Clarke Oduor, Football Insider exclusively reveal.
• Aston Villa are edging closer to signing Brentford’s Ollie Watkins ahead of Leeds United and Leicester City, with Villa boss Dean Smith’s previous experience managing the player likely to seal the deal. (Football Insider)
• West Brom have accepted an offer of about £1m from Birmingham City for Jonathan Leko, while they are also in talks with Brighton to sign goalkeeper David Button.
• Bristol City are interested in signing Steven Sessegnon of Fulham. The Robins are looking to bring in at least one defender, with a right-back a high priority to replace Pedro Pereira following the end of the Portuguese defender’s loan. But there is Championship competition.
• Arsenal player Hector Bellerin has been offered to Paris Saint Germain, report RMC on Monday evening.
• Leeds are leading the race to sign Arsenal Under-23s striker Sam Greenwood in a deal rising to £3million, according to a report.
• Crystal Palace leading the race to sign QPR’s Eberechi Eze but face competition from Fulham for the forward. QPR say they are still waiting for new bids.
• Ainsley Maitland-Niles is ready to leave Arsenal in search of more regular first-team action, with Wolves expected to sign him on a four-year-deal worth £20million.
• Manchester United are back in the hunt to poach Ansu Fati away from Barcelona this summer.
• Leeds and Valencia are now in firm talks over a deal for Rodrigo Moreno with the price likely to be between €25m – €30m. (Sport)
