• Leicester City’s Adrien Silva is heading to Italy this morning to complete a move to Sampdoria.
• Wesley Hoedt’s move from Southampton to Lazio is edging closer and is expected to be completed by Monday’s deadline.
• West Bromwich Albion are looking at Leicester City’s striker Islam Slimani as they ramp up their search for attacking options. (Daily Telegraph)
• Rhian Brewster is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Sheffield United from Liverpool. He’ll cost £23.5m but crucially Liverpool have a 15 per cent sell-on clause as part of the deal, and a buy-back option guaranteed for three years. Now heading for medical.
• Tottenham are close to wrapping up a deal for Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius. Will take the 25-year-old, first on loan and then on a permanent transfer next summer. To pay a €3m fee for the loan and then around €40m on a full time basis. Wolves had €60m rejected in the the previous window.
• Wolves are working hard to get deals across the line, which includes their pursuit of Brazil U23 and Gremio winger Pepe. He has put in some eye-catching performances in the Copa Libertadores which has resulted in his club blocking any possible moves for him. Wolves have made contact though are yet to submit an official bid at this stage, despite rumours that a €15m (£13.6m) offer was put on the table. Porto are also keen.
• Bristol City winger Niclas Eliasson is set to join Ligue 1 side Nîmes Olympique for around SEK 25 million (£2.16m), according to a report from Swedish outlet Expressen.se. Celtic and Aston Villa to miss out.
• Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Burnley have been credited with an interest in Espanyol defensive midfielder Marc Roca, ahead of the European transfer deadline on Monday night. He’s expected to leave.
• Burnley’s opening £12m bid for Harry Wilson falls way short of Liverpool’s initial asking price. (Goal)
• Rennes have agreed a £1.3m season-long loan deal for Newcastle target Daniele Rugani. (Gianluca Di Marzio)
• Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell doesn’t appear to be on the radar of Leeds United, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
• Leeds United have been in contact with Hamburg over a possible move for defender Stephan Ambrosius. (Jonas Giaever)
• Sheffield United have held talks with Huddersfield Town over a £17.5m bid for defender Terence Kongolo. (The Athletic)
• Brighton, Southampton and Crystal Palace are all interested in a possible loan deal for Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson. (Football.London)
• Swansea City are understood to be hopeful of pulling off a loan deal for Brighton’s promising striker Viktor Gyokeres. He’s been capped twice for Sweden’s senior side, scoring once. (BBC Sport)
• West Brom could yet make a bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney, after becoming frustrated in their attempts to sign Huddersfield’s Karlan Grant. Deeney has been with the Hornets for ten years, scoring 133 goals. (Express & Star)
• Huddersfield Town look to have missed out on the opportunity to sign former loanee Chris Willock from Benfica, as the ex-Arsenal man is closing in on a move to QPR instead. (Sport Witness)
• Leicester City are open to offers for 24-year-old English winger Demarai Gray, who is in the final year of his contract with the club. (Mirror)
• Two unnamed clubs have contacted Liverpool about the possibility of signing Xherdan Shaqiri, with one reportedly from Italy (Liverpool Echo)
• Spurs have made a loan bid for Chelsea and Germany defender Antonio Rudiger, 27, with talks ongoing. (Nicolo Schira)
• Club Brugge’s Hans Vanaken has emerged as a ‘top priority’ target for West Ham United in the final week of the transfer window, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.
• Everton striker Moise Kean wants to return to Juventus ‘at any cost’, but Everton are unwilling to let him go before first getting a replacement.
• Dele Alli looks set to remain at Tottenham this season after the club rejected a £1.5m loan bid for the England midfielder from PSG.
• Bayern Munich are in advanced talks with Chelsea over the signing of Callum Hudson-Odoi on a season-long loan.
• Arsenal have reached a “total agreement” with Atletico Madrid over a loan deal with an option to buy for midfielder Lucas Torreira.
