• Fenerbahçe want to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich. Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Crystal Palace have also been linked with him.
• Charlton are closing in on the signing of former Burnley defender Ali Koiki on free transfer beating League One rivals Sunderland to his signature.
• Championship side Reading are close to completing the signing of Alfa Semedo from Benfica, according to claims from the Portuguese media.
• TEAMtalk understands that Queens Park Rangers are ready to offer Lambeth-born Albert Adomah his dream move to Loftus Road. Currently playing for Nottingham Forest.
• Rangers are rivalling Old Firm rivals Celtic and Premier League club West Brom for the signature of Stoke winger Tom Ince. (teamTALK)
• Queens Park Rangers are in talks to sign former Aston Villa attacker Andre Green on a free transfer.
• Leeds United are in advanced talks with Norwich City over the signature of Todd Cantwell. The Whites have tabled a £16m bid for the English winger and agreed personal terms. (Various)
• Sheffield United are in talks to sign Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo, according to Yorkshire Live. Terriers want to get him off the wage bill. Fulham certainly keen.
• Queens Park Rangers are set to make a third bid for Macauley Bonne and are leading Huddersfield Town, Barnsley and Swansea City in pursuit of the Charlton Athletic striker.
• Preston North End have expressed interest in Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris but a deal is said to be unlikely at this point. (US Soccer)
• Southend United midfielder Isaac Hutchinson is close to completing a switch to Championship club Derby County. The highly-rated 20-year-old has made 40 appearances for the Shrimpers since being released by Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018. (Southend Echo)
• Steven Gerrard’s interest in signing £4m-rated Preston North End midfielder Daniel Johnson for Rangers has reportedly cooled in recent weeks. (Various)
• Blackburn Rovers will not be making a move for Leeds United defender Barry Douglas, despite rumours linking him with a move to Ewood Park.
• It was being reported in Germany last night that Derby County had made a third offer for SV Darmstadt 98 striker Serdar Dursun. Derby’s bid to land the 28-year-old could depend on his club finding a replacement for their first-choice front man. Reports had suggested that bids of around £750,000 and £1m had been made.
• Newcastle United have joined Everton and Fulham in the hunt to sign Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey, Football Insider understands. Toffees said to be offering £26m bid.
• Bournemouth have dropped Josh King’s price tag to £10 million with Tottenham Hotspur keen to snap up the Norway international before Monday’s transfer deadline.
• Said Benrahma is in the Brentford squad for the Carabao Cup derby against Fulham. The forward has not started a match this season amid talk of a move to the Premier League, but boss Thomas Frank has said he will be involved.
• Sheffield Wednesday are still set to complete a deal for Cardiff City man Callum Paterson according to Yorkshire Live’s Dom Howson.
• MK Dons are not in for Ross County striker Ross Stewart or free agent midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes, as per a report by the MK Citizen. Stewart, who is 24 years old, is believed to be on the radar of Sheffield Wednesday, Shrewsbury Town and Fleetwood Town, as per The72.
• Middlesbrough target Jordan Jones admits he feared his Rangers career was over, but having made a goalscoring return to the side the winger is ready to make the most of the opportunity. In the summer, Steven Gerrard said he can leave.
• Middlesbrough have been linked with Wolves defender Oskar Buur, who will be allowed to leave Molineux this month.
• Transfer-listed Peterborough players George Boyd and Jason Naismith have attracted little interest so far. League Two side Walsall wanted Naismith on loan, but the player is not keen on the move.
• Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has confirmed his interest in free agent Marcus Maddison – but says he is simply one of a number of players on his radar. Sunderland and Derby were previously linked.
• Hull City are now unlikely to sign Ben Woodburn from Liverpool with the arrival of Regan Slater from Sheffield United in mind, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
