Thousands have been raised for ex-Bristol Rovers youngster Lucas Vaughan, who is currently in intensive care after a crash kills three teens.
The 19 year old is fighting for his life having been a passenger in the incident on the 11th of December in the area of Coedely, Tonyrefail, South Wales.
18 year old Jesse Owen from Tonypandy, Morgan Smith, also 18 and from Tonypandy, and Callum Griffiths, 19, from Porth, all died in the collision between a bus and a car on Elwyn Street.
South Wales Police state that they send their thoughts to those affected by the “tragic incident” while adding that trained family liaison officers are with the family of those at this “extremely difficult time”.
Two others remain critically ill, including Lucas, who is staying at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, with a donation page launched to help them get through this tough time and the foreseeable future.

The GoFundMe page read: “As many of you are aware there was a terrible accident Monday 11th December in Tonyrefail. Lucas Vaughan was a passenger in this devastating accident. Lucas is in intensive care at the Heath Hospital with life changing injuries. When he gets through this he’s going to be in hospital in to the new year at least . Followed by months of hospital appointments and physio an all his other appointments at fracture clinic etc, Someone needs to be at home to look after him and get him thro the months that lay ahead.
“Lucas is a very hard working talented footballer. He is the most kindest, loving family orientated young man who would do anything for anyone.
“I am setting this up to try and relieve some of the financial pressure off Lucas’s family at this time who need to be at the hospital at his bedside for the foreseeable future.
“Any donations would be gratefully appreciated please share.”
